Whoa! We just got a glimpse of the awful things to come next season on Versace: American Crime Story. Venezuelan actor Edgar Ramirez bears a startling resemblance to the designer and it appears they’re filming the murder scene in Miami Beach. Gianni Versace was murdered by a serial killer on the doorstep of his beachside home. It was rumored that Lady Gaga would play Donatella Versace but Ryan Murphy admitted that scheduling didn’t work out. Penelope Cruz got the part and we bet Donatella is highly flattered!

The serial killer story was full of holes, a convenient collar for the Florida police, a known killer dead and the Versace murder solved all in one fell swoop. The word on the street at the time was that it was a mafia hit.
