Oprah Winfrey has tumbled from five years straight of being rated the most popular TV star – down to number 2. She was knocked off her pedestal by none other than Ellen DeGeneres! Publicist Michael Levine pointed out to us that some organization called The Harris Poll has released the following top ten list of popular TV stars:
1 Ellen DeGeneres
2 Oprah
3 Jay Leno
4 Hugh Laurie (House)
5 Jon Stewart (Comedy Central)
6 Dave Letterman tied with Stephen Colbert
8 Bill O’Reilly
9 Ray Romano tied with Homer Simpson
Apparently talk show hosts RULE as far as fame and popularity on TV goes. Tyra Banks must be STEAMING because she didn’t make the list. Ellen was #8 last year – we’re wondering if her meltdown over the Iggy incident gave her a boost. And could Oprah’s political involvement have cooled her fans?

Tyra is a poor loser, because she is a natural born loser. How die Hugh Laurie #4 even get on the list? This sucks big time, and who cares anyway.

It’s strange how the minivan majority can relate to a Dyke and an African American at the same time as voting for Mike Huckabee or Mitt Romney.
Oprah is a phony. People figure because she is rich, she must be a good person. The people who watch her show are amoung the largest group of brain-dead zombies around.
The main difference between these two women is:
– oprah just tells things, people WANT and LOVE to hear. She knows that and USES those things. Not because she believes in them herself.

Wonderful, I love Ellen much better, and Oprah has been getting on my nerves for years now.

Has anyone ever noticed how Oprah doesn’t say the word “day”. She says “daaaayyy”: this pisses me off no end. Little things can do that you know.
I can’t stand snotty, stuck-up Oprah. She pretends to care for the ordinary person, but she doesn’t. She does all things to uplift herself. Take your money and go $#)*%$#.
This poll means very little to tv execs. Ratings folks are the bottom line! Oprah and Dr. Phil are ranked week end and week out numbers 1 and 2 respectivley. Oprah and Dr. Phil shows consistently have double to 2.5 times the viewers that Ellen’s show has. Ellen’s average viewers seem more like they are mindless zombies to me…Most of her fans are “fanatics” even threatening the life of a rescue dog agency because they would not let Ellen have her own way. Also, Ellen is one unnattractive female. She looks more like a male than most men I know. She needs a makeover desperately! By the way I do not dislike or hate gays for I am one myself. So please no remarks Ellen fans telling me how I am a hater or homophobe just because I do not care for her or her tv show.

I love Oprah but..I think she should just stop while she is ahead and just hang it up…Greed or what is driving her and she has so much money she simply can’t spend it and she has helped millions of people all the way around and know…I Feel it is over kill and she is to leave or is she ever going to leave chanel 5 at 4oclock yes or no…Is she ever going to go!
