Elton John’s mother Sheila Farebrother, 85, is downsizing and she’s unloading a forty year collection of her famous son’s memorabilia. She’s not having a yard sale – it’ll be at the Gorringes auction house in Sussex on October 19, but Elton’s fans are in for a treat. Dozens of gold and platinum discs are up for sale as well as tour jackets and VIP backstage passes that Sheila used to get into his concerts, plus magazines and other odds and ends. Music industry experts predict there will be worldwide demand for these rare items because they belonged to Elton’s mother.

No one would be so unrealistic as to cut a deal with the Clinton’s in which they would completely retire from political life – both are fame whores, it would never happen.
