Eva Mendes is step by step, without fanfare, on her way to becoming one of the most important actresses in Hollywood. And she’s doing it without cheap publicity. Besides being fabulous to look at, she shows up for work on time and gets the job done. Here she is at the opening of the D&G store on Madison Avenue. It’s unusual to see her with a bodyguard because we’ve been at several parties with her and she she’s generally on her own and very receptive and friendly.

She’s just another two-bit actress. She’s no Katherine Hepburn or some really respected actress in my book. I never seen any of her films and don’t care too.
She is not a great, well-known actress and never will be, no matter how many casting couches she indulges in. I know for a fact she F-$#@.ed a very big well-known star, in hopes of furthering her career. So far, didn’t help.
