Did anyone else think this was the most boring Emmy show in memory? It was devoid of humor and glamour and burdened with too many uninteresting awards – and winners. Groups of middle aged men in tuxes thanking their agents doesn’t hold our attention for long. The only potential highlight was the appearance of Charlie Sheen and he did look great, but he was awfully polite. It’s painfully obvious that he regrets his meltdown tirade and would love to have his job back, because he’s as close to groveling as one can get. But even Charlie couldn’t save the dismal show. It needs more fun, fun, fun!

Boring time filler.
I saw a clip of Donald Trump today talking about what a boring show the Emmys have turned into. I can’t even remember the last time I watched it, although I like to see the list of winners the next day online. I was very happy to see that Jim Parsons won again for The Big Bang Theory. He’s one of the very best on TV right now, IMHO.

I liked the show, especially the Best Comedic Actresses and their pageant. Jane was good and breezy. The downers were the winners: Amazing Race? That guy from the football drama? Cate Winslett—are you kidding me??? And Mad Men which I just hate so much. But Modern Family deserves all the awards.
I watch all the award shows and I haven’t finished watching my taping of this one, but I thought this Emmy awards was a pretty good year. Jane was fine, but what I really enjoyed was presenters like the Jimmies and Julianna Margulies and many of the acceptance speeches were really funny. Oh, and loved Rickey Gervais.
Kyle Chandler a/k/a that guy from the football drama(Friday Night Lights) deserved to win a long time ago. One of the better shows on television and excellent chemistry between him and Connie Britton.
I only watched the opening and came back to see a few awards, including the pageant which was very cute.
Speaking of chemistry, I did watch Two and half men last night. I laughed quite a bit. I think there’s potential there.
Seriously Janet? Who watches these to be enlightened? Jane did a great job. It’s fun to watch everyone, almost everyone, in one place, enjoying themselves. Granted, the average person could probably care less about some of the awards and the acceptance speeches could be shorter but that’s all a part of it. A staple of Hollywood.
Are they going to be showing ashtons but hole to be funny on the next show? Charlie saying Ha, Ha!
Charlie looked great?? It looked like someone hastily glued a toupee on the corpse of Charlie Sheen.
BLAH! BALH! BLAH! Every year it’s the same BS! Everyone’s a critic and the show will never please eveyone. I liked the show. It’s a variety show and should not be critiqued as anything more.
I never watch these shows, but my Mom is visiting so we did. I thought Jane did a fantastic job, very funny and good timing from her.
Charlie has gone another direction in life and has crossed another path but the award shows have alway sucked and was boring to me any way and…But Charlie had no choice but to be a sweet kind and nice guy….Other wise he would get in trouble with his future contracts.
Emmys have alway been boring to watch and there is nothing there but a bunch of millions who don’t need the money and who can afford $1000.00 plates of food and this people are wearing more Diamonds and have more silk dressing that in Macys on any given day.
Charlie Sheen is moving his children closer and…Is buying every one there own house and…I don’t think of Charlie as being poor and sad…This man has moved on and his life is picking up and things are getting better for him.
2and half men may Bomb and it could go out like that and every one can have a negative reactions and not feel joy when they watch the show and… Charlie has picked up the pieces and…Moved on and in the pass had nothing but well wishes for the show and that is really graceful and kind and warm.
If there is ever an awards show for internet gossip sites????

I must nominate Casonia for M.C. of the first annual show. However I must recommend that all viewers drop acid one half hour previous to the start of the show.
This will insure that Casonia makes perfect sense to everyone watching.
