FANS ARE STILL SPENDING BIG TIME AT THE HOLLYWOOD COLLECTOR'S SHOW

The Hollywood Collectors Show in Burbank seems to be flourishing – perhaps because of the economic downturn. Past-their-prime celebrities have realized how much cash they can make and suddenly it’s hip to sell autographs and photos at $20 a pop and up. Excited fans lined up around the block to meet the three most popular stars featured in this past weekend’s show – Paul Reubens, Joan Collins, and Tony Curtis. Even Daniel Baldwin was there. Insiders estimate that Paul Reubens (above, looking adorable, with a masked fan) raked in the most bucks because he sold loads of Pee Wee Herman videos and movies besides photos etc. “Over $10,000 per day.”

  1. Masked man does’t want to be identified as a um, handler of Pee Wee’s Wee Wee. Old habits die HARD. Just don’t go to the movies with him, or you may find yourself sharing a jail cell.

  2. OMG! Love PeeWee! He was just on “Celebrity Bowel Movements” (on FOX, of course) a few weeks ago, so his career seems to be making a welcome comeback!

  3. A few years ago, it was so shocking, yet funny, when he was busted at the movies for choking his johnson. Nowadays, it would be turned into a reality show and Disney would be the backer.

  4. Rubens is a genious. I revisit the Pee Wee films often as well as Peewee’s Playhouse which is side splitting laughter!
Janet do you get paid to promote these local events or do you stumble upon them when you and your team research the stories of the day like Harvey Levin does on TMZ?

  5. Is Peewee still on the registered sex offender list for child predators? Why don’t you talk to the family of the kid he had naked pix of? How big was that pay off? How many kids were there? Ruebens ought to be in jail.

  6. Paul Reubens is an amazing talent. Love him! I met him at the Hollywood Collectors event this past weekend. He’s cute, witty and smart! He signed last week to make a new movie! Yeah!!!!

  7. I’ll never forget the first time I saw “…Great Adventure” and laughing to the point of near- incontinence. Of course, there were many “tubes” involved. Here’s a gem: check him out as the lunatic Howie Hamburger Dude in Cheech & Chong’s Nice Dreams. Classic.

  8. He charges a ridiculous amount to take a pic with him using YOUR camera.
Anyone that pays his fees, is a moron.
