Still trying to make amends for their scandalous drug bust, Ryan O’Neal and his son Redmond went shopping together in Beverly Hills to buy a birthday gift for Redmond’s mom Farrah Fawcett. Her birthday is February 2. They checked out a few stores and finally decided to play it safe and select something from Cartier.

Redmond has looked like a 40-year-old ex-con since he was about 12.
Farrah: Take the Cartier gift and tell them bye bye, sorry, but your girlfriend is throwing you a birthday party.

Redmond is screwed up because the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree…….look at that kid’s parents. Both of them are certifiable.
Farrah is just as screwed up as they are.

I think if Farrah closes the door on Ryan and gets healthy she can be a good actress again. Her early work was amazing.
I hope her cancer treatments are going good.

I can remember vividly Farrah being interviewed and saying that when she say Ryan, she knew instantly that she wanted to be with him. She went on to say on their first date they kissed so much her lips were raw. After a few years of passion, it all came apart. O’Neal’s family totally messed up, drug use, physical abuse, and then their kid Redmond a major druggie. In fact, all this stress could have played a part in her getting cancer. Oh well, she made a mistake in getting mixed up with this loser.
You cannot overstate Farrah’s popularity at its peak in the 70’s. She was THE sex symbol for the time; there was simply no one else who could touch her. But her life since then has played out like a tabloid story. If she had stayed in Texas and married the Quarterback, would she be in roughly the same place she is today? The best performance of her career was in Robert Duvall’s “The Apostle.” See it, if you haven’t. The “truth” in Farrah’s performance is that she has lived that experience.

Bonnie Blizzard said the stress of years worrying with Ryan and Redmond COULD have played a part in her getting cancer. Stress on the body and mind over many years could play havoc on her. The key word here is: COULD.
I find comments regarding “could” get cancer by stress very comical. We all get stress in our lives. Shouldn’t we all get cancer at this point?

The entire O Neal family is as screwed up as a football bat. They are always getting in trouble for drugs, and Ryan O neal and his son Griffen have been in the news for beating the crap our of one another. I read Tatum O Neals book, a Paper Life. She said her Dad (if you can call him a Dad) punched her in the face when she was 12 because her movie did better than his movie at the box office, She said Ryan used to abuse her and her brother in front of Farrah, and Farrah Fawcett would sit there and do nothing. taem said she often wished the child welfare people would find her and her brother when they wers amll, they would get left alone many times , with hardly any food in the house. , as rich as that family was , this happened. I have no respect for Ryan O Neal, he is an abuser, a drug user, and a first class jerk. As I write this letter, Farrah Fawcett has been hispitalize as is reportedly in serious condition with cancer, As Farrah lay in bad shape in the hospital, her son Redmond just got busted in a prison parking lot for drugs after leaving Rehab.this family is sad, With all their fame and money, material things dont seem to help them at all. They should be grateful for what they have, insteead be the sad examples of a son hating a father, an entire family screwed up on drugs, Farrah Fawcett must have the judgement of a pile of mud to stick with an ass like O Neal.
