It’s official: Flo, the Progressive Insurance girl, has become a celebrity. Stephanie Courtney, the actress who plays Flo in the commercials, will be gratified to hear that she has a “lookalike” who’s created a stir in front of Mann’s Chinese theater on Hollywood Blvd. The Flo double is the latest addition to the army of lookalikes – from Marilyn Monroe to Batman – who charge tourists $5 for a photo together. Flo, with her familiar headband and apron, reportedly has tourists squealing in recognition.

She might be a nice person for all I know, but I cannot stand that commercial; it’s so loud and idiotic and patronizing.
I guess that should be, “those commercials.” After having sat through the first one, I made sure to jump on it to mute or change the channel whenever there was anything by that company.
I agree, E. I’m sure she’s nice enough, nothing against her, but I cannot STAND those incessant commercials. I have to mute them, or change the channel. I think partly because they run ALL THE TIME.

I detest those commercials as well! They are grating on the nerves. Didn’t they do a focus group on them first? They surely would have gotten feedback that they needed to go back to the drawing board because these are HORRIBLE! Her voice is obnoxious and irritating, it’s something akin to torture! And the scripts are just as bad! They need to can these ads ASAP. I wouldn’t get insurance from them if it was free!!!
It seems like she on almost every few minutes on every channel. Please go away.
Well consider that insurance company – Progressive, not exactly top of the line in my opinion.
Probably foreign owned. As who dumps millions in TV advertising and then offers super low rates, lower than their competitiors – probably looking for Hollywood crowd who get DUI every other weekend. No doubt, they’ve got their demographic covered – somebody who sits in front of the TV set watching network tv.
The people on Hollywood Blvd. Can’t charge $5 for an photo. They have to work on Tips Janet.
And if they don’t get an tip there is nothing they can do about it.

You guys are being all overly dramatic “I turn the channel as soon as I hear her voice!” “I hit the mute button as soon as I see her!” “She ruined my life!” hahahahahaha Fuckin losers.
