We had no idea that since we saw him on “Armed & Famous” with La Toya Jackson in 2006, Erik Estrada has become a real officer of the law! He trained to become a cop for the TV series in Muncie, Indiana, and when the show was cancelled, he STAYED and continued training. Last year he was made Deputy Sheriff and he’s part of a task force investigating internet crimes against children. Erik aims to become a US Federal Marshall. When he dies, the former CHiPs star hopes to be buried in his police uniform.

I used to work for the feds, Erik is way too old to become a federal agent, 37 is the cut off. This guy is older than those who retire from law enforcement, hope he stays at a desk job.
Palermo, I was wondering about that as I read the post. Estrada is retirement age, period, and I know that is way past law-enforcement retirement age. I smell a PR stunt.
Gramps needs to go sit down someplace. My brother is a retired police detective, he retired at 46.
If he were not so famous he could go under-cover for the seniors-gangs unit. I hear the oldsters are becoming quite a problem – dealing in viagra, knit and runs, rolling teens for scratch-ticket money.
Must be something like that crap that Steve nSeagal pulled, trying to make the public think he was a cop. That show sucked big blue balls! He’s just as bad at acting real as his “acting”!!!

Wonderful that you Stumbled on something that gives you joy and makes you Happy to protect and serve and that your doing something you have passion for and love and concern for and just think you found your main passion throw playing the part? It is true…He did a really good job at his role in Chips and that is the reason woman like my mother and sisters all love him and even my Aunt is crazy about him.
His life is hard but this man can keep on his toes and work his butt off and kind of wish some one would hire him and have him do something in the movies again but some one really needs him to go back to work and so the rest of his youth is used in front of a movies screen..HE IS A WASTE NOT WORKING BECAUSE HE IS SO GOOD AT HIS CRAFT AND HAS GOOD PERSONALITY AND CAN REALLY CARRY A MOVIE.
