Facebook billionaire Mark Zuckerberg, 30, is not making any new friends in his San Francisco neighborhood. Mark and his wife Priscilla Chan are spending millions to enlarge and remodel a ten million dollar six bedroom “fixer- upper,” and neighbors are weary from the loud jackhammering, and 40 to 50 workers banging away on the house every day. The people next door have dubbed it “Fort Zuckerberg.” There are No Parking signs all over the street and neighbors have to park blocks away. Round the clock security people keep an eye on the proceedings. The whole remodel is expected to take 17 months total. And to think Mark used to live such a simple life…

  1. Oh Please…so any other non-famous mega rich person can build their dream home but he can’t? Looks modest to me Janet – dont hate!

  2. I live in San Francisco. This was stupid! He’s building in an extremely small area and already has a huge mansion in Atherton. The Mission is already beyond crowded. Why didn’t he just get a mansion in Pacific Heights. Dumb.

  3. yeah, he should’ve just bought a new house that was bigger. Never get your money out of add-ons.

  4. Teardowns and rebuilds in my hood, houses without character or interest. Four bedrooms and two baths. Zuckerberg’s house remodel is insane. Just buy in a different place, dude! The neighbors can only take so much.

  5. So, he can build walls around his compound but insists (with millions in political contributions) that our Country has no walls so he can get cheap labor? Billionaire’s like him are killing the middle class. Wake up America!
