GARRY SHANDLING: THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES

All day we’ve been haunted by the death of Garry Shandling. We didn’t realize how much we liked him and will miss him! The Larry Sanders Show was one of the funniest and smartest series of all time. Garry was as self-deprecating and modest as he was intelligent. And he did it all without being raunchy. Throughout our years of gossiping, we only heard how generous and caring he was. No negative stuff. We agree with his quote: “Nice guys finish first. If you don’t know that, then you don’t know where the finish line is.”

  1. He was a funny man. Unfortunately his career was tarnished by his lust for fame and money.

  2. Janet you have never written about this Man until his death. Seems odd you only liked him after he died.

  3. Far too busy writing about Ronni Chasen & the Kardashians to worry about the small people!

  4. A clean life doesn’t merit gossip. Memories eternal Mr. Shandling.

  5. he seemed like a really nice guy. and your right he was funny without all the trash talk. What a breath of fresh air. God bless him.

  6. @Phoneidiot!
What lust for fame & money?
He lived a quiet life & never was out there for the paps.
I really doubt you even knew who he was!

  7. RIP. Loved him. Loved his comedy. Was in absolute shock to read about his sudden death, especially since I recently was so happy to see him in an episode of “Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee” – you can tell he and Jerry Seinfeld were great friends. They joke about death in that episode. Watch it, if you haven’t. What a loss. Sad.
