GARRY SHANDLING: THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES

All day we’ve been haunted by the death of Garry Shandling. We didn’t realize how much we liked him and will miss him! The Larry Sanders Show was one of the funniest and smartest series of all time. Garry was as self-deprecating and modest as he was intelligent. And he did it all without being raunchy. Throughout our years of gossiping, we only heard how generous and caring he was. No negative stuff. We agree with his quote: “Nice guys finish first. If you don’t know that, then you don’t know where the finish line is.”

He was a funny man. Unfortunately his career was tarnished by his lust for fame and money.

Janet you have never written about this Man until his death. Seems odd you only liked him after he died.

Far too busy writing about Ronni Chasen & the Kardashians to worry about the small people!

A clean life doesn’t merit gossip. Memories eternal Mr. Shandling.

He lived a quiet life & never was out there for the paps.
I really doubt you even knew who he was!

RIP. Loved him. Loved his comedy. Was in absolute shock to read about his sudden death, especially since I recently was so happy to see him in an episode of “Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee” – you can tell he and Jerry Seinfeld were great friends. They joke about death in that episode. Watch it, if you haven’t. What a loss. Sad.

    |

    BLIND_ITEM_NEW_#CUT

One of America’s Sweethearts is battling a serious drug addiction- not hers, but her best friend’s. Through the years these two have been stuck to one another like white on rice and her fame rubbed off on her pal. They’ve been roomies, have worked together on set, and even launched a business venture together. But all that success has come with a price. After years of being sober, the less famous friend has fallen HARD off the wagon and our gal doesn’t know what to do. She’s hosted an intervention, hired an addiction specialist, and even threatened to end the friendship, but nothing seems to work. What’s a girl to do?
