There’s no doubt that Gary Busey is, indeed, a celebrity. He’s appeared on Celebrity Fit Club, Celebrity Rehab, Celebrity Apprentice, and now he’s on Celebrity Close Calls on the bio channel. The show is all about celebrities who’ve had near-death experiences, and features (our favorite) re-enactments. Gary of course, talks about his nearly fatal motorcycle accident. Click Here for the show’s video.

    No thanks, Janet. I’ve already HEARD the story of gary and his near meeting with his maker oh, only about every time he’s in fron’t of a camera. When’s he going to quit it and get on with the job of LIVING and stop reliving the story of his brain removing accident? If the moron would have worn a helmet he would have been a hell of a lot better off so I don’t pity him much. He is tho, a great commercial for helmets!

    Not a fan of Gary Busey, but in fairness he is brain damaged, right? This seems like a reasonably harmless way for him to make a few no doubt badly needed bucks.

    @Pit Bull Lover – LOL!!!!

    Y’know, if Hollywood would being back real writers, some of these celebritards, hasbeens, almostweres, neverwillbes, could use their talents in a more productive way. Until then, the public has to suffer.

    Wonder if he does have some brain damage or has drugs/alcohol taken a toll ?

    Perhaps a combination of both? or does Hollywood just eventually make a person looney??? lol

    I hope Gary is well received in his endeavors, because I do like him. And he did suffer a traumatic head injury. And that does often open mystical/strange doors in a person. Good luck, chiclets (said affectionately).

    I like him to a large Degree and He was great as Buddy Holly movie and of course he is such a good actor he has made me cry and he is funny and likes to play head games with people and yes he is a talker and he often loves to move those lips but he is unlike any one in this world and I like his strangeness and weirdness and I like the fact he can make people freak out!!! I know that when he gets under some one skin…He is hated and that means his company becomes a pain in the butt and some people really lose there minds being around this man…I am glad that he is safe and that he can be on this earth to drive other people nutts and I like the fact that that he is safe and sound and the people that love him are around to enjoy his company and laugh and joke and share??Future Special moments together..Take care and Thank Goodness of God that your here on earth to do what you do and that is to be the funny brave man..Who is not afraid to laugh at himself and others.

    Walt. I remember seeing him coked out of his mind dancing with a great band on the stage at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver back in the eighties. I think the band was Dave Edmunds who seemed to be afraid of Busey.Even the bouncers ignored Busey. He was a psycho and tweaker before his bike dump.

    Yes. I think you are right about that.

    I don’t recall a single interview that he doesn’t come off sounded somehow a little bit medicated or little off somehow. I am beginning to think that is part of the credentials that are necessary in order to survive Hollywood. lol

    Loved him the movie “Silver Bullet”.

    The man has survived a traumatic brain injury and has made a living out of misinformed people calling him ‘crazy’. Kudo to that.

    I know he loves to talk and tell stories and of course he is an actor on top of that and is full of Drama at times but that is his personality and that is what makes him interesting and funny and strange but he does get his point across…But being alive and being able to live and tell the story makes him feel great.

    To live and see another Day has to make him feel really good and to be there for his son…Is a real gift and the reason he tells stories is to allow every one who listens to tag along with each and every detail of his life..He is just sharing his thoughts and feeling and issues.

    Love him or hate him, this guy is a loudmouth who doesn’t hesitate to tell it like he sees it- but there’s one thing he NEVER talks about: his prostate problem. Long story short: he LEAKS! He likes to project an image of macho virility, but under his custom made suits are custom made “diapers.” He’s VERY self-conscious and has absorbent but undetectable “panty liners” sewn into all his underwear, to avoid wet spots. Thanks to his arrogant behavior, he has more than a few enemies and he’s terrified his secret will be exposed and he’ll be forever ridiculed!
