To her credit, Gwen Stefani has put up with a lot to be a rock star’s wife. Gwen and Gavin Rossdale married in 2002, and two years later a DNA test proved that Gavin was the father of London model Daisy Lowe, now 21. (Daisy, above at a London fashion event, is six feet tall and looks a lot like her father.) Daisy’s mother is Pearl Lowe, a songwriter turned fashion designer in the UK. This year, Gavin confessed that the rumors were true – he DID have an affair with gender bending singer Peter Robinson AKA Marilyn, back in the 80’s. Gwen rolls with the punches, but we wonder: what’s next?

Gwen is CERTAINLY tolerating a great deal. Makes one wonder what she is getting in return. After all, how expert can a man be at holding his wifes handbag?

Btw, Daisy looks much more like her mother, who was a stunner herself but had a more Annie Lennox-y severe quality. Funnily enough, her father contributed the gentler more feminine quality. But to anyone who has seen a picture of Gavin, this makes perfect sense.
Gwen Stefani…. a “rockstar’s wife”? LOL! C’mon. Gavin’s career as a rockstar (frontman/lead singer for BUSH) was extremely short-lived and has been well and truly over for almost 20 years, regardless of his attempts to revive it. Based purely on accomplishment and longevity, GWEN is the bonafide STAR of the family.
As for Rossdale’s love child with Lowe… that was YEARS before he married Gwen and Daisy’s a grown woman now so it’s a non-issue. As for his relationship with “Marilyn/Peter Robinson”… even if it were ongoing 😉 I seriously doubt Gwen would give a royal toss as she’s regularly enjoyed the occasional round playing for the other team for EONS now.
More importantly, why does this issue of what Gwen knew or didn’t know or attempting to stir the pot of controversy in their relationship continue to be newsworthy here again and again?
Sure, the news about Marilyn was probably a surprise, though the rumors were there for YEARS. However, finding out about Daisy – Gavin was kept in the dark about that too.

Gavin’s band had one or two hits, riding the wave of post-Grunge, and then faded to oblivion. Gavin is the celeb equivalent of the guy who says he is a Writer or Artist or Entrepeneur, when really his is sponging off his wife, who actually has a paying career.
Gav needs to forget the musical endeavors, and develop his purse-holding technique.
I follow UK Gossip and its players only remotely, but is Gavin’s ex (daisy’s mom) part of that whole “piccadilly” circle that sorta, kinda promotes “free style” love amongst its liberal members? Like isn’t Sienna Miller and Jude Law a product of that London crowd? Any Brits in the house who like to perform character assignation today? LOL (Daisy is lovely, BTW).
Gavin’s a pretentious douche and so’s his equally untalented poseur wife. Bush was a bad imitation of Nirvana, so glad they’re over.
Teddy, I always got the impression that there was just a lazy neo-hippy thing going on, from just before the Cool Britannia period thru the early part of the 00’s. I just figured it was part fin de siecle ennui and part post-eighties hangover.
