GENE SIMMONS CAN’T WAIT FOR THE DEATH OF RAP

Kiss singer Gene Simmons created a firestorm in the hip hop community when he commented to Rolling Stone “I’m looking forward to the death of rap!” And Gene thinks rappers have no place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They sample and talk – they don’t even SING!” He says he likes SOME rap but “I don’t have the cultural background to appreciate being a gangster.” The Family Jewels reality star took his wife of five years, Shannon Tweed, to the Grove for some shopping and dining.

We can’t wait for the death of his wig. This old fool seems to forget where rock originated from.

Ballsy and he’s entitled to his opinion, which I happen to agree with.

This isn’t race it’s style; rap is in a category of it’s own.

Couldn’t agree with him more. Rap is the lowest common denominator of music, IMO.

Amen, for what he has given to music, he can give any opinion he wants. And he is right, all they do is sample and rhyme, they DON’T sing They should have their own HOF and leave them out of the Rock n’ roll HOF.

I agree with Gene. Rap is a low-class way of expressing anger. It all sounds alike. You don’t need any talent to Rap. We need real music and lyrics for most of us folks.

Rap is horrible. It can’t die fast enough. Bring back Jazz.

Gene’s hair looks like a Brillo pad. Is it real or a bad wig?

I can’t decide what looks more ludicrous. Gene’s comical kinky skull cap hair or Shannon’s stretched out duck lips. They both look a fright.

But I do agree with his assessment of Rap. Rap IS NOT music. It is just noise.

I love the group KISS. I don’t like rap very much. Gene Simmon’s is an old extremely talented song writer, entertainer, business man and whore has the world’s biggest ego.

Through the years these two have been stuck to one another like white on rice and her fame rubbed off on her pal. They’ve been roomies, have worked together on set, and even launched a business venture together. But all that success has come with a price. After years of being sober, the less famous friend has fallen HARD off the wagon and our gal doesn’t know what to do. She’s hosted an intervention, hired an addiction specialist, and even threatened to end the friendship, but nothing seems to work. What’s a girl to do?
