Another fabulous European TV commercial featuring an American movie star: Norway’s biggest bank hired George Clooney to teach people that not everybody gets lucky in life, and that’s why we have to save our money. Why aren’t American commercials this entertaining and compelling?

We’ll never forget the night years ago when we had neighbors in, watching George’s famous nude scene in “Solaris,” when our macho, straight-as-an-arrow friend suddenly blurted,
“I’d like to lick him all over.”
Then he hastily added, “Jesus. Did I just say that out-loud?”
Whoa. Talk about your AWKWARD MOMENTS!
Well, I can tell you, we were all pretty horrified, especially his wife, who sat stone-faced on the couch.
There was an absolutely PAINFUL silence as she clutched her Long Island Iced Tea with both hands.
But then she smiled, shyly, and said,
“Oh, who am I kidding?
So would I, honey. So would I!”
We still laugh about that to this day! 🙂
Clooney is looney. How many exes has he given a house and big $$$ and maybe a monthly amount. He’ll have to make movies for a long long time, and that’s not to mention his male lovers (many many believe he is gay).
George Clooney, the liberal, pompous ass with the weird juvenile and unfunny sense of humor, would be my worst nightmare. I have seen him in interviews several times and he just couldn’t stop with the wisecracks if his life depended on it. He used to be cute when he was young, but he isn’t anymore to me.
Clooney and Pitt, two pompous queens if you ask my opinion.

WHAT a great commercial! George is so lovable in it.
It would have been a more accurate portrayal of George, if he were wearing the horse’s ass instead of its head.
A real classic thing here and the music is lovely and the actor is amazing and really graceful and of course this girl has hit the big time and to not remember being with George Clooney means she had to be wasted to a large Degree.
It seems like this man has fallen in love with her and..wants to share his life with her and she looks like she is in shock and is really blowing her mind and what a dream! I would not want to wake from this.
He seems to be taken with her company and he seems like he is blown away with her mind and body and soul and laughter is so romantic and lovely and tender and that little kiss is given to let her know she is not dreaming.
Just think getting married and not remembering this? Crazy and nuts and strange but she is wondering why me and…to get the heart of a man that is hard to nail down!

Dear Denise the $64,000 is that George Clooney makes in a day to make this shoot. He is a really good actor and that is the only way he is going to get married in a dream…Marriage can be a trap and it is hard to get out once your in!

He’s cool and damn hate to say he’s overdue for plastic surgery as it’s pretty clear that he hasn’t had any. Hope he holds out!
Casonia, I’m sure he made much more than $64,000. I understand that a few million or more is the going rate for A-list actors making commercials overseas.

I always liked Clooney and he would be beautiful at eighty, but really he needs to spiff it up some–he looks tired.
