George Hamilton, 72, is on the cover of The National Enquirer because he is “battling skin cancer” but in fact, he’s had skin cancer for at least ten years. He’s had lesions removed through years and has only recently cut back on his sun exposure and switched to spray tans. Tanning addict George was one of the last people to give up using sun reflectors for his face! His cancer treatments are over and now he’s in New York rehearsing for a 9 month tour of the musical “La Cage Au Folles.” Luckily, he also has a 38 year old girlfriend, Barbara Sturm, who happens to be a doctor

Trying to keep improving your looks can become habit forming. The more you tan the more you have to tan, the weight you lose the more you have to lose. When you look okay to everyone else, you are Never satisfied with what you see in yourself. George Hamilton made a cameo in the movie Bulsworth, and he was referred to as “The Tan Man”. George has the reputation of a lady’s man, and is a wonderful friend to his ex wife Alana, but he is even more well known for his tangerine complexion!!
Apperently he digs the older babes as much as some of Hollywood digs the real young ones. Hope his complexion turns back into what whould be considered normal skin now. Just today I found out I have Squamous Skin Cancer on my hand. But I am an Irish woman by blood and have been living in the desert for 12 years now.
I’ve always though he looked really rediculous!

I don’t know what to think of Mr. Hamilton. From talk shows and interviews, he struck me as someone that enjoys life and doesn’t care for the burden of responsiblity. Who can blame him? lol Not in the photo above but in most of his posed photos he has the most impish grin (like he has just launched a deadly air biscuit into a crowd of unsuspecting victims.) lol 🙂
He looks foolish and orange…..the tanning booth worshipers will be dropping like flies over the next few years.
Sorry to hear this Reta, glad they caught it. I had precancerous cells on my forehead, and I grew up in gloomy Detroit. Back in my day nobody used sunscreen and we sat in the sun with baby oil on. The doc said it’s all an accumulation of sun throughout the years. Everybody should see a dermatologist for a full body check once a year.
Know adays you can get cancer from too much Sun and it is a good time to stop and I am happy that Mr George Hamilton is protecting his skin and really cares about his heath and just fade to a nice little brown.
To spy on a Tan…He must feel good about having Brown Skin and must really love the way it looks and…He still has it going on? Beautiful and Blond and Smart Young Pretty lady in this picture is incredible and…They look so Happy together and Yes Mr Hamilton Many people all over the world really love you for you and You have brought major joy to all parts of the world..You have torched so many lives. You a Dam Good Actor!
George’s skin damage is done so if he has the C at his age it is a bit late to do much.
WOmen who flock to him are wanna be’s thinking his name can help their chances or those totally over the hill.

Not at all to make light of your situation but you should be acceptable for a medical marijuana prescription. Good for appetite if your doing radiation.
He is still making a living and still taking care of himself and people are still wanting him for movies and little shows here and there and the world always have to remember…That all the movies he made early on in his Hay Days..He simply gets a check for that and yes he is old and his youth is gone! But he still has something that attracks the world to him and..He still has a Career. When you get older..You gather more wisdom and learning?

Geez, I was just wondering about him yesterday! How fortuitous! He hasn’t aged a day! Proves my theory, that good genes trump all of this ‘avoid the sun’ crap.
His memoir that came out a few years ago is a terrific read! He’s most definitely a survivor who has had more than one comeback. His son Ashley has had some difficult times…
He seems like a really nice man, I never heard anything bad about him. I wish him well.
George Hamilton is a role model for men and..He is the father of acting and..Every man that comes after him..Meaning in the last 39 years of his acting career..He was the front runner and..We use him as an example of acting and..I face the cold hard facts that some of the roles he has played has been amazing and outstanding and fantastic and..I am happy that he has changed and gather a Healthy life style and is clear of all Cancer.

Patrick: On radiation (yet) so far just a biopsy has come back positive and I wll have surg on the 18th, which will be a lengthy ordeal from the sounds of it. I am also in the middle of moving, so am MAJORLY stressed out right now. Hope alls well on your side of the fence! (And put Casonia back in her can, won’t you please?)

I love HELLS KITCHEN,,Not Hamilton..My mother loved that man and of course…I am not there on Hells kitchen busting my ass and winning the game..But I rather be there then any where at this moment but season 9 is still going on and season 10 is the end and so there goes my chance 100% But as far as George goes..He must have it going on as far as his age goes and the lady with him really looks happy and cheerful with that man.

But George has to have something that is keeping a young lady around and that means he has a great sense of humor and can put the moves down in the room but there is something attracting her to him.
There must be love and kindness and feeling a connection in order to have some one feel that way about you.. But I am happy for George Hamilton having some one to love and some one to spend time with.
