GEORGE IS BRINGING THREE GENERATIONS OF HAMILTONS TO TV LAND

George Hamilton has created a reality show and it sounds a lot like “Two and a Half Men.” George is developing a “docusoap” for TV Land with the same producers who do “Keeping up with the Kardashians.” The show will document the lives of George, 70, and his older son Ashley, 35, (a standup comic) – they are perpetual bachelors in no hurry to grow up. Until, that is, George’s 10 year old son George Thomas (from George’s relationship with Kimberly Blackford) moves to LA to live with them. Will they take him to Mr Chow? Who will pick up the check? Insiders tell us that George and Ashley are living together because they’re both hurting for money, so this all makes sense.

  1. How bout going to Neverland and keeping the cheesy to himself. So many douches, Summer’s Eve should really be the sponsor for that mess of a show.

  2. All this time I thought he was gay. My gaydar must have been on the fritz.

  3. George Hamilton is such an anachronism now. That is not necessarily a bad thing – to those of us who grew up in the seventies, people like him bring back fond memories. The problem is that reality shows are targeted at brain-dead, culturally illiterate 20 and 30-somethings. Will they really want to watch a show about a guy who looks like their granddad’s insurance salesman? Unless the kid is half-black, with a budding rap career and serious anger issues, that show is going to sink like a stone.

  4. Hamilton’s memoir was a great read — made into a film last year. He’s definitely a survivor and I have a feeling the series will be a hit. I like him. Ashley is doing his best to make a go of it… he is a recovering addict but seems to have been clean and sober for a while now.

  5. Ashley is pretty cute, and George Sr is actually pretty quick witted and funny. I think I’d at LEAST give it a look see. I never watch the one with Sheen, even tho I like Cryer, Sheen just turns my stomach.

George had a reality show a couple years back that was pretty funny…about a large (I believe Italian)family fighting over the prize money at the end. It was really interesting to see how they turned on each other and ganged up, all in the name of the almighty dollar. George was the moderator and was pretty good at running the thing. I thought it was entertaining at least.

  6. George is the ultimate survivor and his life story would be a large book indeed.

He has always reminded me of a suave gentleman who is a paid employee of a swanky cruise line. His ‘job’ would be to spread himself thin among the many older rich ladies, dine with them, dance with them, compliment them, and etc. (big etc.).

I also think he is very down to earth and friendly. Years ago he had a talk show with his ex, Alana, and he came across as funny and approachable. Above all else, he is what he is.

  7. This show is a winner…It covers all age range demographics. GT jr. George’s 10 year old son from hot actress/model Kimberly Blackford, may steal the show. \

George Hamilton is an American treasure and an icon to the late Baby boomer generation–I was a member of his cool cigar club in Beverly Hills ” Hamilton’s” —pretty much everything he touches eventually turns to gold.

  8. I LOVE George Hamilton. He always seemed like a decent kinda guy, and he gets along with his ex-wives which says a lot. I don’t watch much TV, especially reality shows, but I wish him luck. His kid looks pretty good in the picture too.

  9. Where are the 3 generations granted you have a 70 year old father a 35 year old son and another son that is 10 years old.As I understand when speaking of 3 generations there is a grandfather, son, and grandson not a father and his 2 sons that are from different generations it should have said generational.
George dated Linda Johnson President johnson’s daughter while Johnson was in office. There was talk back then that Linda and George were going to marry but since Kenndey had just been killed the Secret Service had to tail them leaving no privacy.
George like Tony Randall are/were considered Metrosexual.

  10. Wasn’t Ashley Hamilton married to Shannen Doherty for about a minute? I seem to recall reading about some crazy sessions with her holding a gun on him (Haha, not a shotgun marriage, but after they were married) — this is the same guy, right? (If he can recover from substance abuse and that kind of relationship, then all power to him)

I’ve always felt like George Hamilton seemed like a good guy, and I’d be curious to see the show if I can find it (they always advertise shows before they can be scheduled).
