GOLDIE HAWN’S LOSS MAY BE SOMEONE ELSE’S BIG OPPORTUNITY

We were looking forward to seeing Goldie Hawn star on HBO’s comedy The Viagra Diaries because she hasn’t done much for the last ten years. The role seems perfect for her – it’s based on the book about a woman whose husband has a mid-life crisis and leaves her suddenly single and on her own for the first time in 35 years. (very “First Wives Club”) Unfortunately HPO and Goldie have parted ways. According to Deadline.com Goldie was not happy with the men she auditioned with to play her husband and she wanted a lot of involvement in the creative process. (Translation: she was a bit difficult) This sounds like a great opportunity for an actress over 40 – paging Melanie Griffith!

  1. I’m not sure about Melanie Griffith she is hard to look at. Way too much plastic surgery.

  2. Janet I have to disagree with you on this, Goldie is not known for being a diva, she has standards, just saying. She’s a hell of a producer. Maybe they weren’t up to snuff.

  3. How ya doin, Walt?
Did the weather miss you and yours?

  4. I’m w/ you on this, Mel. Goldie has certain standards and if they aren’t met, she has the luxury of being able to say no. Better do that instead of getting involved w/ a project that she will live to regret! 🙂

  5. Why do I always want to smack that stupid fucking look off of her ugly ass face!

  6. she refused to show her hare-lip to us.
    SHE HAS INDEED ONE!!

  7. I like Goldie but I can imagine she’d be difficult to work with. I also have a soft spot for Melanie Griffith. I’d like to see more of both of them.

By the way, the First Wives Club came on TV the other night and it was beyond awful. Those women deserved to be divorced.

  8. Mid-life crisis? Isn’t Goldie pushing 70?

Wow, that would be an Oscar worthy performance, to say the least!

    Diane Lane, maybe?

  9. Hey Patrick, Thank you for asking. Off & on yesterday & last night was rough. So much better today.

  10. Glad to hear you’re okay Walt.

Diane Lane is an interesting choice, but I always have a hard time believing that anyone would leave her.
