The story of ER doc Goran Visnjic’s paternity suit is more tragic than it seems. A Croatian woman claims the happily married actor is the father of her four month old child. Actually Goran and his wife Ivana have been desperate to become parents for years. After trying everything unsuccessfully, they adopted a baby boy a few months ago and were ecstatically happy until their joy was marred by the startling accusation. Their friends know that Goran is not a player and really loves his wife and they predict the couple will stay together come what may. But they also know Ivana is crushed by the news, and that Goran MIGHT be guilty. He likes to drink with his buddies when he goes back to Croatia and last spring he was there without Ivana for several weeks.

Apart from a baby, waht else did he get: herpes? HIV? Genital warts? Who knows what he brought home to his wife (if he’s guilty, that is.) I have to say, I met him once on a film-related matter in LA and he was a complete fake, with an asshole attitude. His wife shouldn’t worry. She was meant to have the baby she has. She and the baby were brought together for a reason and I wish them all the best.
Ah yes….television pussy. He deserves it but now must pay for carelessness. Just put his Sherman Oaks (Medeila) home up for sale two days ago. Looks like there might be trouble in paradise.
ANyhow, most croatian gossip about this is that the woman is basically a member of the “lighter guard” who used him when he got carried away after a wet night out, and he was stupid enough not to be careful. He’s offered her a very good economical settlement and to care for the child finacially, but she insisted on him recognizing her baby. ( which in my opinion, he should do, after all the child is probably his).
I feel sorry for his wife though.
Another “faithful” husband bites the dust. She’ll keep a leash on him after this fiasco. And, he’d better start using condoms if he’s gonna have any more boys nights with the guys back home. He’s pretty but not the brightest bulb in the pack.
The whole situation is chaotic.
It’s become a public cat fight fight between Goran’s wife Ivana and his lover Mirela.
And so far Mirela is gaining fame in Croatia.
Ivana Visnjic (or whatever her surname is) is a former drug addict who almost got married to a drug dealer.
Her father a contradictive famous, film producer in Croatia than decided to pay an eager to grow Goran Visnjic to mary his daughter and move with her to the US where Goran would have a bigger name and get more jobs.
Ivana would get status as the wife of a celebrity and the money daddy thinks she deserves.
Aniway, now with the affair becoming public Ivana is doing nothing but back up all that was said about her past as she makes it obvious that she gave an interview in Goran’s name stating a bunch of crap together that contradicts everything her husband has said in his lifetime of interviews and along with this smart pants Ivana trashed his image across Croatia in within seconds and is hitting his fans who are reading the amount of crap that was written.
Unfortunally fans there are the fans who bite Ivana’s line and get sucked in thinking Goran would say all of that.
It’s a sad situation for the actor.
And of course his former lover also gets a litle bit of an eg nest for herself.
It’s sad to see a man be sucked in to a stupid cat fight. Really he should just divorce his wife and try to save what’s left of his image.
I think she preyed on him and got what she wanted. And I think he was drunk and stupid. What’s unfortunate is that there’s a baby girl without a father. And a wife who was betrayed. And it’s all over the internet.
I’ve read he was out drinking with his “buddies” but I wonder where they were when he was leaving with this woman…
I know he’s admitted to sleeping with the woman, but I can’t help but hope the baby isn’t his. I’ve always been a fan.
