GRACE JONES PULLS UP TO THE BUMPER

Anyone who loves fashion will be knocked out by Grace Jones’ visual aesthetics on her current concert tour. Besides all the great songs, Grace puts on a fashion show of around a dozen costume changes and each revelation is more remarkable than the last. The person responsible for these avant-garde creations is visual artist Eiko Ishioka from Tokyo, a brilliant and award winning costume designer. You get MORE than your money’s worth with this concert, so if Grace comes to your town, try to see her. She might even show up on time.

  1. I haven’t the SLIGHTEST idea what she sounds like, but her couture has been the limit for decades. If she’s a so-called “singer” wouldn’t you think even ONE of her “songs” would be known???

  2. Fuck yeah! Grace Jones knows where it’s at! seriously, she’s like 65 years old. i hope I rock that hard at 65 and look that good! for some reason, doesn’t seem that ridiculous on her. I think she’s a fucking bad ass!

    ROCK ON GRACE JONES!

  3. another american patent:
    ………….MEET THE “MISERY-LOOK”, folks!!

  4. Agree with Reta. I can’t recall any of her songs… However disagree with you criticizing her self-expression. So what she is 60? Does the life stop at 60? I wish my mom was like Grace, had a hobby, a career, something to say and make you all notice her.

And by the way… Grace’ body rocks at 60, Madonna take note how to look fit and healthy without scaring the crap out of little children.

  5. Reta, My dear…

Do you claim to be the be-all and end-all of Music acceptance/ Just because you don’t “know” her music doesn’t mean it isn’t known.
Ihave followed her singing career since the 70’s and “know” her hits… even lesser “known” songs have stood the test of time, and to this day, play”Pull up to the Bumper” at a lub, or play” la Vie en rose” at a party, and all will enjoy.
There is more in this world than one’s own Small view of it
