Okay, we were dragged to see “The Green Lantern” and begrudgingly gave it a chance because we like Ryan Reynolds. It turns out we like Ryan as a real person, not as a superhero. Our main gripe is about costar Mark Strong whom we found extremely appealing in previous films like RocknRolla and Sherlock Holmes. He’s not only hot looking but has a very sexy voice. So why did the makers of Green Lantern paint him up to look like a freaky ghoul? If Scarlett Johanssen was in the movie you can bet they wouldn’t have disguised HER good looks. These movies made BY men FOR men can really be a turn-off for women.

I agree with your point on these movies are not MADE for WOMEN. This guy or Ryan in his green and fake CGI are a real turnoff for me. I have no interest in these type of movies that rely on this kind of crap to get by. I’d much rather have a movie with plot and good acting any day and leave the special effects OUT!

After seeing the trailer for Green Lantern a million times, I have zero desire to see the movie. But then, I’m not a 13 year old boy.
I like the movie and it was off the Hook and love to see it again but for me once was enough,,I Paid attention to each detail and it was fantastic and outstanding and of coures this movie can take home an award for best picture of the year and yes His body was slamming and jamming and moving and grooving and yes he was Hot..Love the Movie and think it is great and fantastic and Creepy and strange but love-a-ble movie that catches hold of your attention completely.

You once again prove just what a moron you are. Had you done an ounce of research, you’d know that the character Sinestro, from the comic book, looks like what you saw in the movie. Maybe it’s that you are just getting old and you just can’t remember to do simple things, like research.

Mark Strong is an attractive guy, but he is an actor and sometimes (wait for it) they wear makeup when they’re acting! This is part of the reason I have no desire to see Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland. How dare they hide beautiful Johnny Depp in that awful Mad Hatter makeup.
However, such is film making. Just watch another Mark Strong movie Janet if you wish to get your fix. For my Johnny Depp fix, I love to watch Chocolat.

Mark Strong Still Shines Throw and his voice is so sharp and he has so much emotion in his voice and style as well and I had no idea it was him until just know and know I know He has done a really great job and has just done the best movie of his career and he knocked it out of the block on this one and yes the story line was great from start to finish and yes the special effects where fantastic and worth while every one that made it into that movie was right from start to finish and yes this is going to be a summer block buster hit for sure.
