GUESS WHO TELLS MADONNA WHAT TO WEAR – AND SHE LISTENS! (AND HOW ABOUT THAT SUPERBOWL SHOW?)

As controlling and manipulative as Madonna is known to be, she DOES have someone she turns to for a fashion opinion before she leaves the house for special occasions: her 15 year old daughter Lourdes. Lourdes is very opinionated and a surprising source of inspiration for her mother. When Madonna dressed to attend the New York premier of W.E., Lourdes was aghast and told Madonna that no respectable director would wear a corset! Madonna immediately changed into something more elegant but still dramatic (above.) Madonna ALSO keeps tabs on the music Lourdes is listening to, and it influences her creative vision. We were blown away by Madonna’s amazing Superbowl performance – tomorrow she’ll announce her new tour and we bet it’ll sell out FAST – she proved than no matter what you think of her, SHE STILL HAS IT!

  1. Madonna was superb, I’m so proud of her, she did not embarrass herself. She can be proud of her superbowl performance, it was the best one in a very long time. Great job!!!!

  2. That get-up she’s wearing is a Marchesa designed by Harvey Weinstein’s hag, and since Harve gave Madge her Globe, she’ll be sucking his fat nuts for a long time to come, if you see my point.

  3. You guys are delusional. It was mediocre at best. The worst thing is she lyp synced the entire set. What a sham.

  4. Considering she was twice the age of almost everybody on the stage she did herself proud

  5. I’m surprised she didn’t wipe the sweat off her crotch with the Flag like she has in other countries.
I also wann thank her for covering the scary granny limbs.

  6. Talk about stacking the deck. Anybody that sourounds themselves the hottest acts today, will always look good!!

As for her concert tour becoming a sell out….what does that say about her popularity? It says there are a lot of foolish people out there willing to part with their money, so she can continue to support her beloved Kaballah centre. Ka-ching, Cash Cow at work. Madonna needs more money like Oprah needs more money.

Not bad for an OLD broad, I guess!

  7. Whatever, it was a good performance. I’m annoyed with MIA for flipping the bird. I’m so proud Madge was fully clothed and knocked it out of the park. I loved the little Egyptian theme and kept praying she wouldn’t be nude under the robe she wire for the like a prayer bit.

  9. The best part of the show was the costumes & lights, plus the dancers on the stairs & on the wire (the rest of the dancing was pretty lame). Nikki Minaj & CeeLo Green could have really torn the place apart, but their appearances were too brief.

  10. I loved it. I’m a child of the 80s and I really enjoyed it. It was a good show period/ lipsyning and all.

  11. It was good, a snippet of what her future Vegas shows will look like.

People, I told you on a Madonna thread bout a week ago that her kid is dressing her. Lola is her karma and chickens come home to roost.

  12. I hate lip synched shows regardless of how well choreographed. And at first she appeared unsteady on those heels, I thought she’d fall for sure. Fortunately she never did.

MIA should be MIA for flipping the finger, very inappropriate.

  13. The should withhold payment until after show and then reduce for “unscripted events”. I dont care for Madonna but thought her performance was good.,,,among the best recently.

  14. Yawn. It was an easy-listening set of golden oldies. Old, old, old. Madonna did a series of easy dance moves in ridiculously high heels. Boring outfits. I don’t care about lip syncing–you can’t sing “live” when you’re cavorting all over the stage like she did. Which Elton wouldn’t know. Still, it was a letdown.

  15. Stop pushing the child! Talent is not inherited or divinely appointed.

  16. I don’t care for Madonna. Didn’t like her lip synching half-time show, either. I just don’t understand why people think she’s so great.

  17. Passable, barely passable. Yawn! Her dance moves were careful….other dancers were making the really good dance steps. I don’t know what you think she “still has”, Janet. I think Madonna lost whatever it was a long time ago.The half time show could have been a lot better!

  18. yeah, she was careful, what hapopened to that charisma she used to have? did anyone notice she almost fell at the top of the bleachers?

not the right shoes to wear, she was lucky she didn’t fall

  19. Madonna was released from Hell for this performance and will be rapidly returned to the eternal flames where she belongs.

  20. Yeah, I still think that it’s Madonna not Lourdes who is doing “Lourdes’s” line, as I can’t imagine her ego standing for anything else (I hope it’s not, and I hope the kid is able to get out from under her mother’s identity some time after she is older)

There is a lot of great 80s music, but I would rather watch Milli Vanilli lip-synch than her.

I saw A-Ha in concert in the 80s, and those idiots did not sing or play one note, just stood there bouncing to tapes — which is ridiculous considering that there was so little to play in the first place. Feh. Why don’t we have singers who sing, and dancers who dance, and stop all this fake-music mime crap?
