GUTSY KELLY CLARKSON TO CLIVE DAVIS: NO MORE MR NICE GUY!

How refreshing it was to have Kelly Clarkson criticize and deny some of the recollections Clive Davis wrote about in his new book. Her outburst took courage because MEN rule in the world of music management and heaven help the woman who is not cooperative. We never thought about it, but Clive Davis was probably a tyrant just like the majority of music moguls and it’s likely that he too, treated women in that familiar and condescending manner.    There’s something I kinda like about Kelly C. I’m not a huge fan of the music (except that really sad one Because Of You!) She seems like a smart, interesting girl. And she keeps her clothes on…

   I like Kelly. A lot. And Clive Davis is a self serving asshole. But when you consider she is getting married to Reba McIntire’s stepson it seems clear that courage had nothing to do with it. She no longer needs Clive Davis. She has Reba.

    He is creepy for sure,but I guess he is just doing his job:choosing and looking for songs what sells.If Kelly just “had” to do her album the way she wanted,she should have ponied up money for the recording.Let’s face it she is a good singer,she won in singing show,it’s not like she struggled hard to be where she is now.She should be grateful for the opportunities she had.

    Clive was happy to hit on young gays all throughout his “career”. Now he is trying to sell books and make himself into something he never was.
