It’s nice to see “Desperate Housewives” star Marcia Cross and her twin daughters Eden and Savannah at the Santa Monica farmer’s market as usual. This time is special because Marcia’s husband Tom Mahoney accompanied them and it looks like his health is much improved. In 2009 Tom, a stock broker, was treated for cancer and he looked gaunt and lost his hair and was rarely seen in public. It’s apparent that Marcia is happy and grateful that Tom is back and energetically playing with the kids.

Yes, if memory serves me correctly, when the show first started she was more curvy and feminine looking. She IS turning into a red-haired Madonna clone, isn’t she? NOT GOOD! Why anybody would think that would be a good career move, let alone personally a turn on is beyond me. The guy survives cancer only to be subjected to the gross turn-off of a too thin and muscular man-woman. YUCK!

Maybe she went a little too far with the weight loss after having the kids but I think she looks great. So happy he is looking and feeling better.
All those Desperate Housewives were too thin and gaunt. I remember hearing some joke when HD television was becoming popular, that watching Housewives was like watching the Cryptkeeper. Really? They looked bad enough on regular TV.
Well, it’s on its way back with the new season soon and a new “housewife” in the form of Vanessa Williams this time. She’s pretty much as thin as the rest of them, and fairly as white too. Why anybody calls this woman “black” is beyond me. She obviously has more “white person blood” in her than any other race, and green eyes and the hair sure gives her away as well. When they tried to pass HER off as “the first BLACK Miss America” I thought WHO are they trying to fool? I’d sure like a peak at her family tree, I’ll bet the so-called “black” is waaay back there in history!
I think Marcia is the best one on DH. She has had to play a wide range of emotions and does it well.
