Her parents are both huge celebrities, but Violet Affleck ,4, might be headed for public school. Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck could easily afford to send her to the most expensive private school in LA, but they’ve decided to enroll her in public school in Brentwood when she starts kindergarten. They want Violet to have a normal life and not turn into a Hollywood brat. One of the reasons they chose to live in Brentwood is the fact that the area has a great public school. Above, Jennifer brought 9 month old Seraphina along to pick up Violet at pre-school.

Her parents are “huge” celebrities? Excuse me? In whose world? She hasn’t done anything except Neutrogena commercials and a crap TV show and he hasn’t had a hit in years.
It appears Miss Dimples is letting herself turn into a frumpy hausfrau. She better be careful, as Ben still has an eye for the ladies and the poker tables, make no mistake about it. She has her hands full, and it is certainly not with a TV or movie career. His few movies are grade C and easily forgettable.

I think Jennifer looks terrific in this photo — sheesh, she doesn’t need to look glamourous when picking up her 4-year-old from preschool… Re: sending her child to a public school, kudos to them. Of course, being in Brentwood, there will be a good number of spoiled brats there! The best solution is to get out of Los Angeles! I live 200 miles north and the public schools are superb! 🙂
Both Violet’s parents are total has-been’s. Ben killed his career when he started hosing that Puerto Rican, so maybe all they can afford these days for their spawn is public school. After all, there’s not much on the horizon in terms of income…

The smallest kid is cute.
Gee, I bet she sometimes thinks of all the $$$ Ben has screwed away on lap dances and high-stake poker games in Vegas. He himself admitted he lost way more than he won. I would never ever trust Ben regarding whores and gambling, and I think she basically does not trust him. He is a loose cannon, a has-been cannon at that.
Why was there so much flurry over Ben Affleck being such a great catch? Whoever has him really doesn’t have him, for his mind is on the thrill of ‘the other woman’. It may have already happened, as he just looks shifty and really like a spoiled little boy that never grew up
WTF – you get the best education you can for your kids. In my country private schooling provides a better level of resources (teachers, computers, aids, etc.,) than a public school.
It also matters what effort parents put into their children outside of school – that makes a huge difference, but to not pay for the best in education when you can and should be able to afford it, is pretty s**t parenting in my book.
