HER PREROGATIVE

Whitney Houston IS declaring her independence from Bobby Brown. She’s no longer leaving the driving to HIM. On Friday she was seen at the DMV in Hollywood where she apparently renewed her driver’s license. She looked focused and must have passed her test because she had her picture taken before she left.

   I’m glad to see Whitney taking control of her life and although I think Bobby Brown got a bad rap on somethings, that was Whitney’s faults. (I think Whitney used Bobby as a cover for her bad girl behavior).
   I also don’t think they brought out the best in each other. A very co-dependent relationship.
   My hope is that this is a change at a deeper level, one that uplift her, not one that brings her down.

   she needs to take baby steps to get her life back on track.
   let her smoke cigarettes, and leave her along while she tries to stay away from the pipe. we all know she is gonna stumble a few times along this path too…
   as long as she stays away from bobby and anyone else who could influence her back into that lifestyle….

    I agree with Di and Rosalita. Let’s wish her good luck and offer prayers for her. Kicking substance abuse is a bitch and it can happen to anyone. Shit, look what the smokers go through just trying to quit cigarettes!! Whitney will always be one step away from back-sliding. This will be the fight of her life.
