Little did we know that Oscar winner Helen Hunt, 52, was an accomplished surfer! We remember her fondly on the 90’s sitcom Mad About You with Paul Reiser, which won her a bundle of Emmies. Helen says she only learned to surf ten years ago and now credits the sport for keeping her in shape. Nowadays she lives with director/writer Matthew Carnahan and their 11 year old daughter Makena. Good for her! Super talented lady. She looks healthy and fit.
I have a great deal of confusion about her personal life. I was under the impression for years that she was a hometeam kind of a lady. Then she married Hank Azaria who I thought was a hometeam kind of a lady. Then they divorced about 17 or 18 months later. She has since remarried to a gentleman and had a daughter.
Regardless, she is one of my favorites.

Yes Natalie. You are correct. Azaria & Hunt started dating in 1994. They married in July of 1999 and the divorce went through December of 2000 after being separated for half that year.
