Hilary Duff, 26, was most likely bummed when she and her husband Mike Comrie split in January after only 4 years – they have a two year old son Luca. Just when she’s feeling down in the dumps, an old boyfriend has resurfaced and he’s trying to woo her back. Hilary and singer Aaron Carter were teenage sweethearts until Lindsay Lohan reportedly broke them up in the early 2000s. Aaron has been tweeting that Hilary was the “love of his life” and he’s very openly trying for a second chance. Since Aaron, 26, filed for bankruptcy last year, we’re guessing Hilary won’t be running back into his arms anytime soon.

I don’t think much of money as a motivation to date, but in this case, with a recent bankruptcy, I agree that he’s too messed up to get involved with.
