“House” star Hugh Laurie started filming the show in 2004, and his family stayed in the UK so the kids wouldn’t have to leave school. His family wanted to wait and see if the show was a success before uprooting. Numerous Emmys and six years later the show is a bona fide hit, but Hugh is still living alone in Hollywood. However he DID move out of his West Hollywood apartment into a large home in the Hollywood Hills. Everyone expected the family to move in, but they just visit! When they’re together Hugh and his petite wife Jo love riding his motorcycle, and seem happy. What’s the deal here?

If it’s working for them, why question it?
I think Hugh and his wife took one look at spoiled Hweird kids and decided to leave their’s to grow up in England where they can have a normal life. Plus we don’t know what the kids look like. Misssion accomplished if you want to protect your kids as I’m sure they do. Hugh is very British, he attended Eton and Cambridge. He probably wants his kids to have the same. And when House is over, he will happily return to England and continue his career.

As husband and wife, no shi* they’re happy. They are 5400 miles apart.
The real question is, did his bf move in, or does he just “visit” too?
For actors, this is probably the best arrangement. Everyone knows they’re impossible to live with.
Maybe they have an open relationship.
RE:Bringing the chldren to the USA to live I don’t see it being a problem.Look at Bob Geldof’s kids and even Prince Harry has had some troublesome times.
