HOW THE OTHER HALF CELEBRATES EASTER

gwynethcut.jpegWe love hearing about how “the other half “lives and in Hollywood they live pretty darn well. For example on Easter, many celebrities took their kids to an Easter egg hunt – not like the ones WE are used to- this happened to be at the Malibu mansion of mogul Ron Meyer. The pampered children of people like Gwyneth Paltrow, Tobey Maguire, Robert De Niro etc had quite an Easter Sunday. Kids were treated to “what looked like” a thousand goose size eggs hidden all over the property. Each child was given a large basket to fill up. The eggs contained “toys” like iPods, candy, and money (fifteen dollars per money egg.) The kids also had a petting zoo where they could play with bunnies, baby chicks, and miniature horses. Parents had a cocktail bar and an omelet buffet and everyone picnicked and enjoyed the ocean view. (Except for Courtney Love who sat on the grass, rocking back and forth, smoking cigarettes.) These Hollywood kids don’t know how lucky they are.

  1. Sounds like teaching your how to become materialistic. What was so wrong about finding some colorful eggs – geez.
The ole’ Us vs them logic…
Sounds like that guy needed a big write off as it is like tax time… Minature horses, Ipods and inviting the Hollywood friends over. LOL.
Heck, out here on the farm.. We’d just like to shoot that damn rabbit and fry it up and eat.
Anybody ever tasted rabbit pellets before ?

  2. not sure why the Easter egg hunt was arranged with such lavish gifts, these children want for nothing.

  3. Wouldn’t they already have all the Ipods they can use? It seems crazy that if they wanted an Ipod they wouldn’t already have at least one.

  4. you’d do it for your kids if you could. stop complaining about how the rich live and start demanding that congress raise the rich peoples taxes, make that your deciding issue on election day. meanwhile do what i do, bootleg their movies so they don’t make as much money

  5. These Hollywood kids don’t know how lucky they are.
    What a blanket statement.

  6. this is an old picture..it was in a magazine a year ago. Where’s the picture of the Easter egg hunt?? I would like to see a picture of all the rich bratty kids chasing around goose eggs !!! lollol

  7. Yeah, I think this picture was taken at a music festival last year in the UK where Coldplay performed.

  8. Since when does an expense incurred in 2007 count for 2006 income taxes that are being filed this weekend? Are you even old enough to pay taxes because it doesn’t sound like you know what the hell you’re talking about

  9. old old old old old old old old old old old old old old old old old old old old old old old old must i say more?

  10. what a joke…why give presents to kids who want for nothing. why not get together less fortunate kids and their families, and let them have a fun day out and the opportunity to win things that their parents could never afford?
