IF WHITNEY’S FAMILY IS SMART – THEY WILL WELCOME BOBBY BROWN TO THE FUNERAL

Whitney Houston’s family is making a HUGE mistake if they don’t invite Bobby Brown to the funeral. For the sake of Whitney and Bobby’s daughter Bobbi Kristina he should absolutely be present. And keep in mind he was THE LOVE of Whitney’s life. As much as Whitney’s family would like to blame Bobby for Whitney’s drug troubles, even Whitney admitted her drug problems were all HER own fault. The Houston family would also be foolish to mistreat Bobby because he might be tempted to get back at them by talking to the press. And there’s plenty to talk about. We predict they’ll come to their senses. (Above, Bobby and fiancee Alicia Etheridge)

  1. He’s a scumbag and any woman who’d take up with him after all this is a total idiot.

  2. I understand the seating in the church is limited but he should be there sitting with his daughter.

He should not give a speech or sing a song and he should leave the baby mama and his posse at the hotel.

I also think he would score big points with Cissy and Dionne if he wore a conservative black suit and no bling! Whitney was a class act when he met her and Bobby Brown dressed in a low key manner would show the family respect.

  3. I think asking Bobby to show respect might be pushing it. Gee, I can’t imagine why Cissy wouldn’t just love this guy. He probably should be there for the child’s sake but then disappear. No press conferences or book writing or money grabbing. Just go away.

  4. Bob gets the blame but Whit was the real problem in the family…goofy, drug addled, and full of lesbo action. He has all Whitney’s lesbo secrets in his head. Alicia is one ugly ghetto girl.

Cissy and Dionne are only mad because they may not get all of any money left over.

Bury Whit and get it over with.

  5. I doubt that Cissy Houston would even think about not inviting him when her granddaughter is in such rough shape over the loss of her mother.

  6. As Bobby ages, he looks more and more like Cedric the Entertainer. It has still got to be a difficult time for Brown too. They were together many years.

Hope their daughter can hold it together this week. Bless her heart. When one loses their mother, it can be an enormous void in their life especially if they are close. I lost mine years ago and miss her every single day.

  7. Denise, I suspect you are right about that too. Her father needs to be near her to comfort her. I can’t imagine them not inviting him either.

  8. Janet is right. Although Bobby was her perfect drug foil, Whit was enabled by certain family members to booze and pop pills to her death.

  9. Bottom line is, Bobby did not have a hand in her death. He is the father of THEIR child who will be in attendance, and he was Whitney’s husband at one time. He has evvvery right to attend!!

Whitney would want him to be there as well.

  10. I read on another website that whitney had an abortion, some days before she died. They are pointing the finger at brandy’s brother ray J. They say comedian Jamie Fox knows the truth and Ray J was with her. How can you explain the beer in the room? Whitney drank champagne a top shelf drink, not Heineken. She didn’t need to eat 2 meals, the other meal in her room belonged to Ray J. She had blood running down her legs on Thursday. Abortion.

Whitney’s father and his business partner wrote a tell all book about Whitney, her mom, Bobby Brown, Gary Houston and more. They claim whitney was gay, Bobby Brown beat her and had her paying his debts instead of her own.

    According to Whitney’s father
Whitney needs to begin with the
spicy lies, the multiple sexual affairs, the drugs and alcohol, and
debt that have blown the once strong, ruthless young woman into a
ghastly condition and state of mind.

According to Whitney’s father, “there’s nothing more dangerous than a
junkie with money.” John wanted to save Whitney from herself and
tried to help her everyday until his demise. She was so busy trying
to control her father’s life she lost control of her own. She avoided
paying her debts to pay off Bobby’s. She lost her friends, angered
her fans and repeatedly tried to live above the law.

Its all there and more on The whitney story.com, with everything that is coming out now. I believe her father was telling the truth.

One other website said, whitney had a $ 300,000 dollar a year cocaine habit. A key of cocaine cost $ 23,000 my dea friend said. No one can snort that much cocaine in their life alone. Bobby contributed to her demise.

    Smell the roses.

  11. Bobbi Kristina better watch out for her father. He blew through whitney’s money during life. He will try to do the same thing with his daughter’s inheritance.

  12. Bobbi Kristina better watch out for her father. He blew through whitney’s money during life. He will try to do the same thing with his daughter’s inheritance.

Bobby Brown is forever the spineless creep.

  13. Bobby Brown may Not be my idea of someone to settle down with, but he was Whitney’s. Instead of having multiple marriages and countless lovers,
Whitney had 1 husband and 1 divorce. Whitney Houston’s death might just cause patients to re-examine their medicine cabinets and take precautions while wining and dining and then going home to their prescription medications.
Considering the fact that from Whitney’s own lips on The Oprah Show in 2009, because Mrs. (Cissy) Houston did an intervention by showing up at Whitney’s with armed security to take her away from Bobby, I would Not be surprised if he was Not allowed to sit on the side with the family. I do Not know how he can profess such a Need to be there for Bobbie Kristina when he was constantly being threatened with jail time because he wasn’t providing child support for his other children. It seems to me that when Being Bobby Brown was on Bravo a few years ago, there was a lot of dysfunction, and Bobbie Kristina appeared to be more mature than either of her parents at that time. Whitney’s death remind me of Christina Onassis, both being found dead in the bathtub and both having a daughter and divorced from the father. Thierry Roussel taken on the responsibility of their daughter (Athina) and blended her with children that he had with his lover. Athina was the sole heir to The Onassis fortune and lived quietly with her father and his family.
Bobbie Kristina will be 19 in March and I can easily believe that whatever emotional nourishment she Needs to handle her grief The Houston/Warwick Camp will help to provide a Normal atmosphere for her. I believe that Bobby will try to *act like a grieving widower, even though he and Whitney have been divorced for years, and he is Now involved in another relationship.
    P.S.
Whitney is returning to her church roots for her going home services, and back to the loving arms of her mother and family from a full circle journey. Good Night Nippy!!

  14. well, he is still the father of whitney’s daughter.
    ………SO WELCOME BOTH.

  15. Leo, my buddy! I always enjoy your posts. Excellent point in that first paragraph. There is no telling how many people simply forget about the interaction between pills and alcohol and have a few cocktails.

I agree that the Houston/Warwick camp will have more than enough support for Bobbie Kristina. However, because she just lost one parent, it could very well shuffle her closer to her dad. In times of sadness or extreme happiness, we tend to let things slide and “try” to forget the bad things for a little awhile.

  16. I hate when people act stupid at funerals.
BB should be at that funeral. He should not be allowed to showboat or promote his tour with his little boy band, but he should be there.
And after the funeral, the Houston family doesn’t have to have anything to DO with him ever again.
He is the father of WH only child, poor girl with 2 wretched parents.

  17. oh yes and the fans should get a life of their own and stop trying to INTRUDE on this private ceremony.

Let’s clear up a few things about Whitney Houston. First of all, she left a last will and testament. It was drawn up after her divorce from Bobby Brown, according to my sources. Daughter Bobbi Kristina is her likely main heir. Despite dire reports, Houston also was not bankrupt or broke. Even though she didn’t have a publishing legacy–others wrote her songs–she did have money from album sales and touring.

She likely had advances, too, from various deals with Sony (formerly Sony BMG) dating from 2000. She made a lot of money–at least $35 million gross–from touring Europe and Asia in 2010. Sony is shipping and selling millions of her records right now. And while there may not be a lot in the vaults of unreleased material, there will be enough to do some kind of souvenir album.

Whitney’s finances will be frozen and put into probate. I think the court will have a trustee or someone to help BK with her new found wealth. She definitely, doesn’t need bobbie brown and his new wife trying to get into her pocket. The court will assign someone.

Bobby Brown already said, he was allowed to go to the funeral. I doubt they will let him sit near them during the funeral. I know, I wouldn’t.

BK, will find out soon enough her father is after his own special interest, not hers totally. There is a reason whitney fought for sole custody of her child.

  19. It will be like the Jackson’s and family will make out very well. Gay Clive Davis will recover his loans and advances and Whit will be worth more dead than alive. Unfortunately BK will go ghetto when given access to all the money.

  20. @Walt Cliff,
    Hello, Buddy, Pal, Old Chum!!
Always good to check out your 411!!
According to my antennas, long after Whitney is put to rest, the more stories are going to be created. I believe that the ragmags will be going after Bobbie Kristina the way the tabloids went after Lisa Marie Presley, and Princess Stephanie after Princess Grace’s accidental death. The tabloids can be vicious. Even though we all have our opinions on these message boards, there are Not too many of us that are as brutal as the tabloids when they pick a celebrity to rake over hot coals!!

  21. Whitney had a God given gift and threw it all away by making all the wrong choice in life including Bobby.

  22. I would haunt my mother everyday of her life if she allowed my ex husband to attend my funeral. I don’t care how many kids we had together.

  23. A foolish comment, BB has every right to attend and they were not enemies from all the reports. The real sharks were within her side of the family.

BB knew well Whit’s true sexual orientation and the family will do everything to keep that under wraps. Robyn will be there so it is appropriate that her other primary sex partner will also be.

  24. Let BK decide if she wants her father to attend the funeral.

Lots of stories floating around about their relationship (Whitney & BB); it’s hard to separate fact from (BAD) fiction, but it’s also hard to believe that anyone with Whitney’s best interests at heart would have permitted her to be portrayed as she was on Bobby’s reality show.

  25. It just came over the newswire that Kevin Costner will speak at Whitney’s service—which is a lovely gesture.

Never knew before that Costner was the one who insisted that Whitney sing “I Will Always Love You” in “The Bodyguard”—against the strong objections of Clive Davis.

Also read that 16-year-old Whitney sang backup vocals on Chaka Khan’s “I’m Every Woman,” several years before Whitney covered the song and made it her own mega-hit (and an homage to Chaka as well).

  26. Just for the record: Addiction is a disease, nobody likes to be an addict. Whitney’s addiction was not a result of bad decisions, it’s a medical condition.

  27. You know the focus has been on the obvious people she left behind like her daughter, ex husband, mother …etc. However, I can’t help but wonder about the girlfriends she left behind too. Perhaps there was someone that she was seeing or that she loved. ????

  28. From all reports there were a string of the GF’s when she was younger. As she became more delusional it must have been others who were paid to play with her.

  29. Bobby is a f**k-up!!! Keep the daughter away from him! First things first. Decency, respect, spirituality, compassion etc. These must prevail at a funeral. There will be none of that if B.B. is allowed to participate. Respect Whitney’s feelings. Would she have wanted him there? Doubt it!

  30. for once, i agree with you,Janet!
RIP Whitney and i hope the best for Bobby Kristina and her brother

  31. By Noblecascade, your ex must be a real DICK!! Either that or your a woman scorned. Because if you have children with someone, you owe it to them to show respect to someone they love.

Just out of curiousity, which is it?

  32. @muffie….a little of both. In my family, once we are divorced from someone they are out…if you could be friends with someone, why did you get divorced? I do not want my ex’s at my funeral…my family would never do that.

  33. I can tell that he is broken and hurt and sad and up set and losing her was a complete shock to him and…He feels the lost of her every day…Even though they where Divorced…They where still friends and had something in common?

  34. Every should give this man a break and stop coming down on him and just let him be and allow him to grieve in his own special way…But at this time…He is reaching out to his daughter and just wants to be a father…And from the look in his eyes…This man will do anything for his daughter and just wants to help her out in her time of need.
