Brace yourself for Spectrum’s imminent new Cable channel: SCNTV. Yes, a 24 hour Scientology station is in the works. Back in 2011, the “church” (estimated worth in untaxed real estate: 1.5 billion) bought the KCET Hollywood Studios for 42 million dollars. Ironically, this is the old studio where the original Invasion of the Body Snatchers was filmed in 1956. Hmmm… Now the Scienos have snatched up the studio and spent a fortune remodeling so they can do fundraising and recruiting around the clock. Tom Cruise is probably too famous to participate, but celebrity members like Kirstie Alley or Jenna Elfman are likely participants.

Great post, Janet!–KCET used to be a crown jewel among public television stations; we especially remember Huell Howser’s work. He was a talented and lovely man.
Now it seems the COS tentacles will be reaching the public through ever more dominant media.
And here we were thinking that “Battlefield Earth”–John Travolta should have gone into the Witness Protection Program afterward–was the worst thing that could come out of that money cult.
The Mormons are BY FAR a bigger threat to America than the Scientology nut cases. If people knew what went on in the secretive Mormon temples in their cities they would be shocked. Most Mormons aren’t even allowed to know or to enter. They have infiltrated government , taken over the Scout and guiding movements and own most of the businesses you know and love.
