IS CHER ENGAGED OR WAS IT JUST A SLIP OF THE TONGUE?

Cher appeared on The Today Show this morning and we could SWEAR that during her interview Matt Lauer let a secret slip out. We thought we heard him say that Cher had big news about her ENGAGEMENT. There was an awkward silence and the subject was abruptly changed and they talked about something else. Did Matt spill the beans or did we imagine it? Cher has been hanging out with writer Ron Zimmerman and says that she learned to keep her private life private. We wonder if anyone else saw this on the show…

  1. More likely her one singing engagement of the year.

This is a diversion from JC’s Kardashian News website

  2. She announced she is doing another farewell tour!! Apparently she forgot she already said goodbye. Hmmm, at a certain age you do tend to forget things. Like to actually sing rather than lip sync when on a live tour. I like Cher but come on; quit milking your fans.

  3. Lipp, Lipp, Lipp…Please button your lip! Cher never said she was “retired”. She said she wasn’t ever going to tour again. That was 8 yrs ago. She thought she wouldn’t ever make another cd – hence no need to tour. Her record company demanded she make another cd per her contract. It’s customary to “tour” with a new cd. If your not a fan, cool, but Cher has millions that are and glad she touring again. Btw: She doesn’t lip sync that’s Britney.

  4. Whether she’s engaged or not, she deserves a great relationship. Very happy for her. Such a gifted woman, who’s had more than her share of challenges.

  5. I saw Cher at Cesaer’s in Vegas two summers ago. The show started well, with Cher gliding over top of the audience in a cage, along with good dialogue. From there, the show tanked and I was never sure if we were watching a Cher impersonator doing the song medleys from that point forward. Too much recorded/choreographed Broadway show and not enough real Cher.

  6. Tagg, Tagg, Tagg, I paid good money to see Cher the first time she said farewell. She returned months later to say farewell again. And when I learned she was lip syncing some songs I really felt ripped off. So how many farewell tours does it take to finally say farewell. Or how much money do you have to have to quit manipulating your fans? Cher is sad since she seems to be resorting to mercenary tactics capitalizing on the gullibility of her fans. And you seem to be one of them, just sayin’
