Rod Stewart is a lively dad for 66. He took his six year old son Alastair shopping at a toy store in Beverly Hills and let him pick out something new. Rod is the father of 8 now – his third wife Penny Lancaster gave birth to his youngest, Aiden, in February. That’s a lot of children for a man who is notoriously tight with his money.

Janet you forgot a former post in which Rod is supporting a grown daughter and son, both of whom do nothing.
You have to give credit where it’s due. At least he supports all his children, whether it be a good thing or not, unlike K-overFed who mooches. If you ever watch Rod in interviews, he’s quite the gentleman with a sense of humor. Looking & still sounding great for 66 years young.

Rod is one of the coolest senior citizens around. He may be tight with his money, but he’s a gentleman, and that’s what counts. He doesn’t look that much older than when he first became popular. Of course that could be plastic surgery or botox, but whatever it is, Rod rocks!
t’s not unusual for someone who grew up in extreme poverty to become tight fisted. Does anyone know if this applies in Rod’s case?
I’d love to hear some examples of how cheap he is. I hope he didn’t earn that reputation just because he doesn’t shower his kids with ridiculous stuff (plus no boundaries) like Sean Coombs.

Rod “the Mod” Stewart does look and sound good. He remains on a cordial friendship with his exes, the mother of his children. I think that it ended badly for him and Britt Eckland. After they broke up she sued him for palimony, and did win a settlement for her sexy vocals on Tonight’s the Night, a super hit for Rod!!
I love Rod. Before his second son with Penny Lancaster was conceived, he was on the Graham Norton show and Penny was in the audience. He was asked about more children and he said they were trying to have another one (that’s what happens when you marry a younger woman I guess). He said at his age, they really had to plan it, but that they “had a bash” on Sunday “didn’t we Pen?” The poor woman looked like she wanted to hide under her chair. It was hysterical. Obviously “the bash” was effective.
Tight with Money..I don’t think so..This man lives like a King and have Beautiful attractive and very Bright children and they are his future and…Rod Steward has a wonderful amount of children and for sure!!! Never be lonely and…He is not a cheap person…He lives better then 70% of the world…Remember he has to put all this children throw college and it is better to save for a rainy day.
As long as you can get it up and get it in and get out out…..! Men’ can forever make children and all they need is some one young enough to carry the child..It is great and better late then never and to have more children is to have more future with family and bloodline. Blood line is key to any one future and seeing your self in many directions and that means some one who looks like you and smiles like you and laugh like you is wonderful and children make you feel young.
He is (or almost is) a living legend. He hit on singing old standards and with that raspy voice, it works. And for sure he has had one helluva life.

It is his money and…He can do with it as..He please! He worked for it and earned it and…Busted his ass for it and…He is taking care of his Ex wives and…8 children and that is not a cheap man….I Don’t think that is cheap ass man..Bull Crap and that is a lie and that really bugs me. This man lives in a Million Dollar House and takes care of the light bill and heat bill and phone bill and cable bill and food and supplies and pays for his kids private schooling and buys house hold supplies and pays for his older kids college and…The world keeps calling him cheap? I don’t get it and will never understand this and…It is his money and can do with it as he please and…Because he is not crazy for wanting to take care of himself in his old age and making sure his bills are all paided as well as Taxes?
