Britney Spears fans, and maybe some people not so fond of her, are in a tizzy, claiming she used a body double for some of her dance moves in this “Till the World Ends” promo. (Lip synching isn’t ENOUGH?) They not only accuse Britney’s female choreographer of slapping on a wig to double for some intricate steps, but some insist the stand-in looks like a GUY. What do YOU think?

There is not one shot of Britney dancing where you can’t see her face. It’s clearly her with great editing. This blog is stupid.

Intricate dance steps? In this video? It’s all Britney.
Since when did bobbing up and down constitute “intricate steps”? I’m no Britney fanatic but the woman has always been able to dance, and now the haters are trying to take even that from her? Please.
If the producers used a dance double, they should demand their money back. There was no real dancing by Britney in that video. Her feet barely left the floor. The most moving she did was marching in place and crossing her arms.
Those of you with kids at home will be reminded of an iCarly episode where the kids have to make a music video with a brain-dead former pop star (very clearly modeled on Britney) and they do the same thing-surround her with real dancers and make sure she never has to actually dance.
If Britney could actually do all those acrobatics, they’d be showing her face. If they’re smart, they’ll say that isn’t Britney and we were never meant to think it was. There are other dancers with her in one of the silhouetted shots, and they should say it’s one of them. Which it probably is.
She was just out here in SF for a concert, she lip synched three songs and all critics said she looked at her heaviest weight and was awful. I watched about three seconds of that video without sound and had to stop it, the whole thing was gross. Britney’s time has passed, let’s face it and move on. And she was never a good singer, all she had going for her were her looks and those seem to be gone.
I didn’t see any intricate dance steps. I saw softcore porn.
There is def some trickery going on here. The fact that close-ups last less than a blink of an eye prove it. If she could move or dance she would want that camera on her longer than that. Think Justin Timberlake for example…he can dance and the camera always stays on him 90% of time and dancers get 10%. In Britney’s case is the other way around. I think it’s her most of the time but heavily edited because the girl can’t do it. C’mon haters or lovers, that girl is brain dead and a puppet. Just watch her live ‘performances’ of late.
BTW I had to turn of the sound to watch it… what an elaborate diarrhea her ‘music’ is. Feel kinda sorry for her, she’s dead puppet.
Puzzling. I studied the video intently with the sound off. A few observations: I did not see a single ‘intricate’ dance move. 95% of Britney’s movements consisted of bobbing to the beat with very little actual dancing, except for the backup dancers. Perhaps one of those backup dancers is being mistaken for Britney, but even that’s a stretch.
Nothing would suprise me with Brit Brit. Carson Daly recently said that Brit’s handlers even refused to let her do a live interview. That is some serious pupeteering.
The girl is one of the biggest optical illusion/fraud performers of all time. She is a “Ca$h Cow” for all the leeches on the BS totem pole!!
This being said, I am sure she is a nice young lady. Just a prisoner of her own fame and fortune.
btw, quickly changing frame sequences is a production technique developed over the last decade or so to add the illusion of more movement than is actually happening. It doesn’t bother me much for things like music videos, but drives me crazy at times when they do it for regular programming because it mimics neurotic and that’s annoying to watch for any length of time.
It’s obvious Britney dressed like herself as a male dance double to see if we got it, and yay you win. She’s tricky that way. : }

C’ mon guys… what’s wrong with liking black guys? It’s 21st century, here in Canada everyone is mixed. Asian chicks like white boys, white boys like East Indian girls and their kids look great. It’s Britney and she looks good. Still doesn’t dance as fast and have as many moves as earlier days. Remember when she had knee surgery, wonder if it fully recovered? That would make a difference.
