Lisa Marie Presley is back in Hollywood promoting her new album Storm and Grace and she explained why she picked up and moved to the English countryside where she’s been writing songs and recording for the past eight months. Lisa said she suddenly felt she was surrounded by a a rather poisonous entourage of people who agreed with anything she said and catered to her every need. She enjoys living in England among “real people.” We can’t help but wonder if she is slyly referring to the Scientologists that always hovered around her. Scientology isn’t so welcome in the UK so that’s a good place to escape from it, if one wants to. Wouldn’t it be nice if she denounced the cult? I’ve always thought she moved to England to escape her ties to Scientology – or loosen it’s grip on her. I also think she’s always had loose ties with reality anyway – she’s really quite nuts. She is about as talented as Fabian Forte except she already had a name to trade on, she now has more money than King Midas so she can make all the records she wants, and if noone buys them, it certainly won’t make a dent in her cache of cash and she’s not out any moolah. Her career is a non starter. Something pathetic about her whole persona.

LM seems to be a very intelligent, independent woman. I’m sure she will do what is right for her.
I don’t think she is in danger because her father was Elvis and if the “church” did anything to her or her family in any odd way the fingers would point directly right at them. I think they mess with the less famous so no one will know how they operate.
Of all the places in England she picked to move to she chose one with a Scientology Church within walking distance……so much for moving to England to get away from them.
All Scientology has to do is rave and gush over how marvelous and wonderful Lisa’s voice is. Keep complimenting her voice over and over and telling her how great she is. Lisa will never leave.
Note: Lisa’s voice is horrible, off-key, bad, in other words it sucks.

She is a real strong woman and she is doing something that gives her joy and makes her happy and she looks great and happy and cheerful and on top of the world.

It would be nice if Scientology would just fold it’s tent and skulk off into the night where it came from. One can only hope. I feel sorry for Lisa, because she has such a legacy to try to live up to. I haven’t heard her sing, but if she doesn’t have a great voice, she’ll forever be criticized. She had a 50-50 shot at inheriting it from Elvis, but also the same odds of inheriting a lousy voice from Priscilla.
