IS PROJECT RUNWAY'S CHRISTIAN SIRIANO THE NEXT MARC JACOBS?

Project Runway season 4 winner Christian Siriano’s show was a hot ticket at NY’s Fashion Week. It was a small but interesting collection – many of the outfits were black skinny pants and ruffled or puffy jackets. We could picture Christian wearing most of them himself. Tim Gunn loved his designs and described Christian as “Marc Jacobs for the next generation.” When Fern Mallis, who’s in charge of Fashion Week, heard Tim’s comment she remarked “It’s a bit early to be making those assumptions.”

He is milking the ‘flamboyant homosexual’ schtick to the max. Apparently he has been dating both Jake Gyllenhaal and Ryan Seacrest.

I think Gyllenhaal is looking for a wife. He finally realized it would be too hard to look at Reese Witherspoon’s deformed chin every day for the rest of his life. Siriano would be perfect for him. Jake, just come onnnnn ouuuut.

JANET …AGAIN….The article on Will Smith and Scientology is still down, allowing ZIP to be put on. Did Xenu and other Scientologists get wind of it, and inflict a virus on this particular one? Tis mighty funny the only one of your subjects that is down is the one about Scientology. Please check it out and see if it can start working again.

Perhaps the Scienos have tampered with this site. It’s a fact that they have low-level cult members trolling gossip sites to keep the truth out of them.

This guy seems to be the only “winner” of Project Runway to have really stuck in the media and made a name for himself….anyone remeber the names of any of the other winners??? Thought not…

Good for Fern Mallis and her comment. One or two shows does not a fashion designer make — it takes years to develop a fashion business that lasts. Some of the most talented designers burned out through lack of funds and proper management after receiving good show reviews.

Ummm. “many of the outfits were black skinny pants and ruffled or puffy jackets”. No. It was a collection of diaphanous dressers, with extreme amounts of ruffles in grays and tangerines. Very beautiful. But no black at all.
