What happened to Chanel? And what happened to Brad Pitt? This Chanel #5 ad (top) has to be the worst thing brad has ever done! He looks washed out, rumpled and defeated. Facial fuzz and stringy hair add to the lack of physical appeal. There’s nothing flattering or enticing or sexy about the ad. Compare it to the one that Charlize Theron did (with no expense spared) for Dior. Which scent would YOU buy?

The once pretty boy is flat worn out. The beauty man-killer wears the pants in this arrangement. Between reports he is upset that she keeps losing weight, not to mention 6 spoiled screaming brats, making movies, world wide travel, it’s no wonder he looks beaten down. In fact, he hardly has time to take a shower or wash and groom his hair. “Live fast, love hard, die young” is the motto of some rich and famous.

Perhaps he drank the stuff instead of having worn it, that would explain the doped out commercial. Maybe he’s more of a Hi-Karate type of guy?
This ad is a complete cop out. Is he endorsing the product to raise money for charity? I actually thought he had a bit more integrity about him. Loser!
he does look exhausted, low concept indeed. I loved those earlier Kidman, Vanessa Paradise, Ridley Scott versions, poetic, layered, sensual. This ad is pale in comparison. Bizarre really.
Cheesy dialogue. Poor acting. It should end by Brad saying, “Take a pill.”

And that includes any licensing fees paid to all the dead celeb’s estates to use their images!
Way to ruin a brand! I never want to purchase another Chanel Fragrance again.

Brad looks good (not in this, however), but as soon as he opens his mouth, it’s all over for me. Can’t stand his voice. He can’t have done this ad because he needs the cash!
