IT WON’T BE CHRISTMAS IN HANCOCK PARK WITHOUT NORWOOD YOUNG!

The most famous house in Hancock Park (Los Angeles) just went on the market for 2.4 million! Singer Norwood Young, who has the white house with all the naked Michelangelo statues out front, is moving on! Boo hoo! No more parties with live giraffes and llamas! No more stagecoach rides! Some of the neighbors will miss him – others not so much. But even if the all-white front yard full of wrought iron and statues isn’t your thing, the inside has 7 bedrooms and 7 baths with loads of marble and white carpeting. The best part is the dining room with totally clear lucite table and chairs suspended from the ceiling! And of course the pool, with a large mural of Norwood himself in full view. But most of all, Norwood’s Christmas decor will be missed! (Click here for more photos)

  1. He’s an eyesore himself, he butchered his face

  2. Wonder why he is moving? Bet some of his neighbors are tickled pink.

  3. you have to treat these people like kids in a candy store.

  4. Yes Gerard. They must be indulged…yawn.
Have you ever…EVER…been laid? Other, than a relative.
    Good question huh?
I like the dining room Janet. That’s wild.
That house has some nice spaces inside but the exterior is frightening.
Did I mention “gleaming” hardwood floors!

  5. I hope whomever buys the house keeps it as is. It makes me smile everytime I pass the house on my trips to Pavillions to stalk Huell Howser.

  6. I never heard of this guy, but the house is so gleaming white, I’m getting a Liberace vibe.

    TOO FUNNY! LOL

  8. The outside is too frilly, like lace (eewww)! And the inside, is mostly too white and sterile looking. It looks un-lived in.
I wonder how people are supposed to get into those dining chairs???
I think the backyard it the most normal looking of all of it. If they took away the stupid columms that don’t do anything but stand there. I’d hate to be near one of those in an earthquake!
