This is turning out to be a good week for justice. First, the killing of Osama Bin Laden, and now the Kabbalah Center (which has tax-exempt status like that other cult, Scientology) is being investigated in a tax evasion probe! Among other things they’re looking for evidence to prove that money donated to Madonna’s charities went into the Berg family’s pockets (they run the Kabbalah center.) According to the Los Angeles Times, a former financial officer at the center claims he was fired for pointing out instances of income tax fraud at the center which owns 200 million dollars worth of UNTAXED property along with a 60 million dollar investment fund. The Bergs claim they get no income from the center, but are given free room and board. (A simple little house in Beverly Hills!) The Bergs were also sued by an heiress earlier this year who claims they defrauded her out of millions of dollars. Her lawyer predicted that “any IRS review will result in a revocation of their nonprofit status and criminal prosecution of the family.” Madonna’s connection remains to be seen. Maybe it’s time to take off that red string bracelet. (M’s spokesperson declined to comment.)

I’ve been hearing that Madonna is going to ‘distance’ herself from the Kaballah Centre. Bit late for that! She’s made a song and dance about Kaballlah for years and basically put the Centre on the map. So much for her being a great business woman. The whole thing stinks.
I read she had a falling out with Kabbalah. If it’s proven that money ear marked for her charities ended up in the Berg family pockets instead, that should insure the falling out is permanent if it isn’t already.

The suffering where I am is the 100-year flood that has wiped out many homes and businesses, and snakes and critters are getting in. This is happening to the poor and innocent mostly. It’s been on the national news, but the binLaden episode has taken up most of the news time. So my point is, the Kabbalah and Scientology fools with all their crazy filth cult lies should go jump in the Mississippi River. They will reap a worse fate than this someday……guaranteed.

The problem with the “investigating Kababs” (or Scientology, for that matter) scenario is that the entire foundation upon which tax collection has been based is corrupt beyond all redemption.
The US Tax Code that governs the lives of ALL Americans is 70,000 pages long.
Chock full with more loopholes, exemptions and coverage for fraud than you can imagine.
Kababs REAL problem? Not enough muscle (lobbyists, etc.) in DC—but just wait.
Once they start greasing the wheels with some of Madonna’s cash, the Bergs will be free to continue their practice.
(Side note: Can’t think of anyone more deserving than the Material Girl to be taken to the cleaners by a bunch of crooks.)
