We TOLD you that Demi Lovato would be in a big fat hurry to settle the case with the dancer she punched and now it’s just about a done deal. Alex Welch only had to THREATEN to file a lawsuit and Demi’s lawyers tripped over themselves to settle to keep the whole issue out of court. It would be VERY interesting to know WHY Demi socked the back-up dancer Alex Welch and so far there has been no logical explanation. Apparently Alex will be able to do interviews AFTER the settlement is finalized, but you can bet she won’t be telling the real story.

So much for her father’s comments about Disney’s scary attorneys. You can bet there will be a confidentiality provision that keeps her from talking.

All this bad-ass-ness is probably PR stunts. The puppet-masters know that they have to be on the ball to keep the fans interested, and Justin, Britney and Christina created the template for Disney child-star evolution.
One has to wonder how far it will go before it implodes.
