Pamela Anderson was shaken to the core when she fared SO poorly last week with voters on “Dancing With The Stars.” Although the judges liked her performance (and we did too!) she barely won over awkward Shannen Doherty. Her friends at PETA stepped in and promised to encourage their millions of followers to vote for her. They arranged a massive campaign on the internet and Facebook in particular, promising voters pictures with Pam. This might be the only thing PETA ever did that we approve of!

I wish Anderson Cooper (or anyone on a major network) would do an expose on PETA. Then more people would see them for what they are. They have some of cruelest policies toward animals. No legitimate animal rescue supports their practices. Their so-called shelters have some of the highest kill rates — and it’s not because the animals are not adoptable, it’s because they are lazy. I can’t believe their image is still one of compassion. That is just so far from the truth.
