Saks Fifth Avenue had cocktail soiree /trunk show for hot Belgium designer Haider Ackermann at the Sunset Tower Hotel last night, hosted by our friend, fashion expert Merle Ginsberg. The clothing on display was both elegant and twisted, but the party stood STILL when Janet Jackson walked in, looking fabulous. Janet famously wore Haider’s designs in Cannes (above left) and she never got so much positive fashion attention. She’s obviously devoted to him now and examined all the new styles on display and happily posed for photos. They’re a good match.

What keeps a lady from tripping when the hem of the dress or skirt is past her heels? Wear the skirt and then throw back a couple of strong cocktails and your looking for a accident.

I’m not too thrilled with her “look” which look like and shirt and blouuse pulled out of the closet of a rich woman. What’s so special? Oh, and Janet better to remember to keep her deformed implants hidden or covered this time. No one wants a second look at those babies!

I just saw her being interviews by Piers on CNN and I had to shut it off. Her face is strangely bizarre looking up close now, did she get cheek implants? That fake little girl voice just makes her sound like a simpleton, Michael did the same thing. You know they don’t/didn’t speak that way at home.
