Jared Leto just paid 5 million dollars for what used to be a military compound in the Hollywood Hills! Included are 50,000 sq ft of living space with 8 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. It was built in Laurel Canyon in the early 1940’s and later used as a military film studio. Compared to neighboring properties the compound looks grey and stark and free of frills or rolling lawns. But plenty of parking. Maybe Jared will turn it into a recording studio for his band – or maybe something completely unexpected. He still has a house in the hills that he’s lived in since 2006.

but why??? why do these rich folks spend all this money for all this freaking space they probably will never see much less use??
i will NEVER get it…….who needs 8 bedrooms 15.5 bathrooms a restaurant size kitchen, a bowling alley, and a huge guest house as well??
