JEAN PAUL GAULTIER HASN’T FORGOTTEN AMY WINEHOUSE

You’ve gotta love Jean Paul Gaultier for keeping the image of Amy Winehouse alive. Amy was the inspiration for his latest collection because he loved not only her unique style, but the way she put her clothes together and the colors she mixed. Of course the models sashaying down the runway all had towering beehives and black eyeliner and many were puffing on cigarettes. But no beat-up ballet slippers. It made us miss Amy all over again.

  1. Poor tragic & talented Amy Winehouse. Where’s Amy’s trademark ballet slippers ? Gosh, I hated it when she worn those nasty things.

Still pissed that she is gone. I love her voice and humor but dispised what the addiction did to her.

  2. “It made us miss Amy all over again.” You slagged her in almost every post and you posted about her incessantly.

  3. Amy could really sing. I hope they played her music during the show.

  4. It’s a nice tribute, IMHO. Although can’t imagine these costumes would be big sellers. That blue and yellow one in the middle looks like it was inspired by one of Amy’s famous tattoos.

Like her music or not, 27 is just far too young for anyone to have died.

  5. Skanky legs on these girls….probably appropriate as Amy was Queen Skank.

  6. He used to be ‘avant garde’ and an amazing designer…in the 1980’s!

But then he joined up with Madonna and his good name went down the toilet and obviously it’s still there.

I miss you Amy but Jean is using your death to get more money for his unoriginal, uninspired clothes. He needs to retire. Or join H&M and create cheap clothes that fall apart after 1 washing.

  7. Such a shame that somebody with such talent squandered it all on booze and drugs.
