Character actor Jeffrey Jones will forever be remembered for his role as Dean of Students in the John Hughes movie “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.” After that, he appeared in “Beetlejuice” and “Ed Wood” for Tim Burton. His career took a wrong turn in 2002 when he was convicted of paying a 14 year old boy to pose for sex photos. He was ordered to undergo counseling and his career unfortunately diminished after that. He’s pictured here buying Octane magazine at a Beverly Hills newsstand – he has a classic 1961 Jaguar.

  1. He looks a mess. But he was also very good in ‘VALMONT” as Gercourt.

  2. ………………….THIS MAN ISN’T DYING, folks?
do not panic: THE END IS COMING SOON!!

  3. I met Jeffrey Jones at a party a year or so ago. He was charming – polite, very funny.

  4. Well, he truly LOOKS like a creepy old child molester now, what more is there to say?

  5. His downfall was having a young teen boy pose naked in photos that he and Paul Ruebens shot showing their hands almost touching the erect penis of the boy. They dressed him up in Village People hats with his genitals exposed. Then they paid off the family. The third adult there ended up in jail for months while Jeff and Paul let their pricy attorneys get them out of trouble. It worked to keep them out of prison but their careers are kaput. At least Jones had the guts to admit what he did.

  6. In 2002, Jones was arrested for possession of child pornography and employing a 14-year-old boy to pose for pornographic photographs.[3][4][5] Jones pleaded no contest to the felony charges and was ordered to undergo counseling and register as a sex offender.[6] In July 2004, he was arrested by Florida police after failing to notify them of his change of residence as required under Florida’s version of Megan

  7. I will never understand what makes an old man attracted to a young boy.

  8. uh yeah. unfortunately he wasnt able to bypass the consequences for lusting after children and no longer is able to appear on our screens in new roles.

  9. Quote “He was ordered to undergo counseling and his career unfortunately diminished after that.”
    What???
    Unfortunately?
UNFORTUNATELY he among others molested a boy, UNFORTUNATELY the boy will be scarred for life
    UNFORTUNATELY he escaped jail.
    THANKFULLY his career is over!

  10. A greedy adult set the kid up in the first place to fall victim to these predators. He grew up knowing Pee-Wee’s Playhouse and Ferris Bueller! That’s worse than being abused by a priest. These two shouldn’t have careers any more, they should be spat at on the street for the endless pain they’ve caused this boy.

  11. He was on the HBO show “Deadwood”. He is a sick man, I think those convicted of any kind sexual assault should have to pay for their victims mental health bills.

  12. You forgot Howard the Duck.
I find this compassion confusing. While I do not condone Sexual Molestation, This kid wasn’t snatched off a sidewalk and forced into a van.
He was 14 and paid. While not really able to predict the future outcome of such ventures, I lost my virginity at that age, and knew exactly what I was doing. What about when you were 14.
And 5 years later, he got paid again. end of compassion.
