JENNIFER ANISTON’S BROKEN HEART

It’s still too painful to talk about, but Jennifer Aniston recently lost the love of her life. Her Welsh-corgi terrier mix, Norman, was her constant companion for fifteen years. Anyone who has ever loved a dog for that long, knows how terrible she feels. Jennifer loved Norman even before she met Brad Pitt. He’s been there for Jennifer through all the ups and downs, and has met all her boyfriends. Jennifer always took her “little boy” on location wherever she was shooting movies. It’s little consolation, but Norman did have a good life.

  1. My heart goes out to her. I know what it’s like to lose a much loved dog. I saw the Chelsea Lately show when she brought Norman with her. He was a sweetie.

  2. Ah. I was kinda hopin’ old Norman would defy all age laws and outlive JA just for the mystical sensation in the tabs. Losing a pet that’s been there through it all is very sad. I’m glad JA has another dog to console her.

  3. I had to put four pets to sleep, it’s so hard. RIP Norman, they are like family members.

  4. How tragic and heart breaking. I feel for her and can only imagine the sad and lonely feeling of losing her precious Norman. That little fellow sure did a lot of traveling.

  5. palermo, So sorry to hear that you have had to put four pets to sleep. I agree that they are just like family (and in some cases nicer than family).

  6. Walt and all….Lots of folks have sad stories regarding pets, and in my opinion, it’s mostly dogs. My dog Spot was a very mixed mix, but he turned out to be the cutest thing, not too big or little. He saved my life for 7 years (a long story), after getting him at 6 weeks old from a 7 pup litter in the country. He was part pointer, and it was so cute when he pointed frogs, stiff like a pointer with foot up and motionless. He was given away after 7 years, when I got home from work he was gone; I know he died shortly after looking for me. Well, thanks for letting me say all this, I have to go cry now.

At least Jennifer had Norman for 15 years and it’s likely she won’t find another so faithful; none of her men ever stayed around very long. I feel for her.

  7. Here is a poem I wrote about Spot:

I did not ask the good Lord above
To please send me someone to love.

But He saw my heartaches and my tears
And He loaned me Spot for seven years.

I loved that pup with all my heart
He gave my life a brand new start.

At the place we lived,we suffered so bad
And my faithful Spot was all that I had.

Then someone came and took Spot away
I know I will see him again some day.

For Spot was a gift from heaven, you see
A bundle of love…..from Jesus to me.

  8. Losing a pet can’t be pleasant for anyone. I am dreading the day when my dog Sandy who is 14, passes away. They really are like children. Sandy gives me a kiss on the back of my leg every morning when I let her out. I will surely miss this.

    PS Nice poem Indy.

  9. no pain greater…..when does the missing stop?

    Old dog in a locket
That lays next to my heart
    I will always love you
As I did right from the start.

    You were right beside me
Through the darkest of my days
It was your kind and gentle nature
That made me want to stay.

Now I hold you in my arms
Your breath still warm against my hand
    Our hearts still beat together
And I wonder if you understand.

Through the hours that I held you
Before the light did leave your soul
I knew a way to keep you
    Forever in my hold.

I snipped the hair from around your eyes
    So I would always see
    The beauty that surrounds me
    Even in times of need.

I snipped the hair from around your ears
    So I would always hear
    Music in the distance
    To quiet my fears.

I snipped the hair from across your back
To bring me strength in time of need
And the power of your essence
    Would always be with me.

I snipped the hair from around your heart
That beat in time with mine
So I would know that love would find me
    At some distant time.

And so, your life slipped out of mine
On a quiet Spring like day
But I knew that a part of you
    Was always here to stay.

    Old dog in a locket
That lays next to my heart
    I will always love you
Even though we had to part.

  10. Thanx Muffin. I wrote it while on the beach at Destin, FL. I wish the little thing could have been walking on the beach w/ me.

And now to the subject, Jennifer: Many think she has ‘moved on’, but I think she has only partly moved on. I think she wishes she had had 1 or 2 kids w/ Brad. Then they would occasionally have to see each other to swap visitations and she would seduce him, get it on tape and send it to her mortal enemy…..and we all know who that is. Moral: A woman scorned is a woman who holds a grudge, maybe forever.

  11. The two poems above, broke my heart, and now, I can barely see to type. The tears are blinding. ….God bless you guys, and I hope you give another chance to an animal who needs love, and a home.
My dog, Jazz, was (and is) my heart. I had her for 8 years. I saw her picture on Petfinder, and drove 200 miles to pick her up. She is my heart. She saw me through my husband’s Cancer, and his death. He had a hospital bed at home, and she would beg to get up in bed beside him, and when I lifted her up, she would nestle up next to him with her head on his chest, and comfort him. And she WAS a great comfort to him. He would rest his hand on her head, and murmur to her. She has been with me through the illness that has put me in a wheelchair for the rest of my life. When I sold my house, and moved into disabled housing, my oldest son and his wife offered to care for her until I “Got settled”. They have a huge country house with a lot of acreage, and several other dogs for Jazz to romp with. She loves it there. They persueded me that she would be unhappy there, always ona leash, and with no other dogs to play with. I was promised that I would be allowed to keep her on the weekends. Do I see her? No…Do I see them? No…. I miss my little furry beloved girl.. I miss my son… Jazz, at least, is being taken care of very well, I know, as all their dogs are, but she will always love me, as I love her. I miss her terribly…Kids can be cruel as we get older.

  12. Mary-Claire, I am so sorry. When Gabriel blows the trumpet, signifying the Rapture, the saved in Christ will rise to meet Him in the air and will be in heaven 7 years getting judged on our service to Him while on earth and also meeting our loved ones who have gone on before. After 7 years, we will all return to earth with Him to rule and reign with Him for 1000 years. During that 1000 years, our beloved pets will be reunited with us and we only have to ask Him for this. Pets will not go up in the Rapture, but will be brought back at the beginning (or near beginning) of the 1000 years. I heard an old-timey preacher say this and I believe it. This can be found in The Revelation.
I know I’ll get dissed for getting off Jen A., but maybe this will be comfing.

  13. Indy & Pit BuLL LOVER, I loved both of those poems. Both made me weep. God bless the pets that are with us and our little angels that have left us.

  14. I agree the two poems were beautiful, heartwarming and well written. I write poetry myself and so coming from that position read them both as a heartwarming touching poem from the heart, but also as a well written piece of art, both of them. I truly think the best poems DO come from the heart and spontaneously.

As for Jen’s doggie, the one pictured above, I don’t think is the one she actually lost. The news showed her OTHER dog which is much more of the welsh corgie body type looking dog and also the one she brought with her when she came on Chelsea Handler’s show not too long ago. I don’t know THIS one’s name, but think he’s much younger.

Nthing has ever hurt me as bad as when I lost my past dogs to injury, disease, and had to have them put down. My Etta that I have now, Yorkie mix, all black and looks exactly like a yorkie, is 12 and getting some grey in her beard. I’m hoping she’ll make it to 20-25 because little dogs DO live longer. She weighs 7 pounds and is in great shape. I am going to fall completely apart if and when I lose her, I know that for sure!

  15. Thank you for sharing your poems, they brought tears to my eyes. There’s no people like dog people.

  16. Sad about losing a beloved pet. However, that’s why Brad had dinner with Courtney Cox last week.

  17. INDY…..Thank you so much for your comforting words. I beleive in God, I beleive in the Rapture, and I beleive that if it is HEAVEN, there will be our loved ones, which include our pets. My Jazz is the perfect dog, and will always be my sweetie. It’s a comfort to think I will see her again.. THANK YOU, my friend!

  18. It is heartbreaking to lose a pet. My heart goes out to heart.

  19. I still miss my black Persian Salem. Everyone is right when they say pets make you a better person!

  20. By Pit BuLL LOVER, loved your poem as well. Very touching.

  21. the bid question these day’s.
WILL SHE COMMIT SUICIDE TO BE WITH HER DOG?

  22. I wonder if Jenn did the ‘smear peanut butter on it and they will showup’ thingy. eeewwww!

  23. In the early 90’s when I had major surgery, the hospital I was in had a volunteer come around and ask the patients if we wanted a visit from a dog therapist. If you did, the handler would bring this perfectly trained dog around to your room and it could even get on your bed and let you pet it. There are studies that prove sick, or depressed people get better much quicker when they have access to a pet, and your blood pressure actually goes down when you pet an animal!

I was able to have my husband bring my own dog in and visit with me on my bed with me. When I went home and was bedridden for 3 months further, my dog definitely helped me pull thru by hanging out with me on the foot of my bed, looking out the window at the birds, and watching TV with me. He really did help me pass the time o much easier. There is NOTHING like the love a dog gives you and the look in their eyes when they are worried about you. They don’t NEED to “talk” they already DO.

  24. Those dog poems are very good. There is nothing sadder than saying so long to a faithful, innocent old pet. That is why I take them to the killers when they are still puppies.
    I have a poem too.
There once was a Scottie named Jock.
He had an enormous, fat, black co..
    Oh nevermind.

  25. Oh brother. THIS IS A GOSSIP SITE

Not iVillage or the View. Yuck!

  26. pippa martins-st. onge,
“I wonder if Jenn did the ‘smear peanut butter on it and they will showup’ thingy. eeewwww!”

    WTH?????

  27. Reta, I am tired of reading about your personal life on this site!! You should have a few friends that you can talk to about your fictitious life. Unless they got your number and smell the bullshit.

Animals do not have souls, so none of you will see yout pets in heaven. There will be animals, but your dear ole pets are dust now.

All living thinkgs, organisms, have the breath of God to give it life, but only humans have souls.

  28. Gee Evelyn.
You’re even more ass holier than I am.
I’m just in it for the yucks. It’s never personal.
    Especially when pets are concerned.
    Meanie.

  29. Evelyn, for your information, nothing I have ever said here has been ficticious. I have no idea what you find so hard to believe, but that’s YOUR problem.

And I happen to have several friends I have known for many years. 4 very very close ones that are like sisters to me. Jill for 49 years, Chris for 41 years, Sandy for 39 years and Linda for 8 years. Once I make a good friend, I keep them!

By the way, wonder why you don’t attack the other people who have written about “their personal life”? Why don’t you try just skipping my posts, much like I suggest we all do with strom and “the American/Gerard Vandenberg”.

  30. Evelyn, PS:
So, you believe humans have “souls” but animals do not. Interesting. I have met many humans who seem completely soulless, but have NEVER looked in the eyes of a dog who didn’t have a “soul”. If ANY creature deserves an “afterlife” it’s the domesticated dog, and I am certainly NOT interested in any “afterlife” that doesn’t include them.

What a cockamammie bunch of shinola you thumpers have drummed up for your own entertainment and appeasement!

  31. You have never met a human who did not have a soul. You met someone who may not have a conscientious or choose to ignore it. We all have souls. How we live is up to us!

You are the only one who comes up with these stories, so I don’t care to lambast anyone but YOU!

  32. Evelyn, perhaps you can get together with Indy and go thump some Bibles for a while, altho at least Indy for the most part seems to be a pretty decent human being, if only slightly demented.

So, I’m the “only one who comes up with these stories” huh? I think after you go outside and use the dinner bell gong to dent the side of your head back into working order, you might want to go back and puruse the various and sundry posts the others have written.

PS: were you trying to say “conscience” when you were raving about your beliefs on the subjects of “souls”? (Again, you and Indy should touch down and play for a while on that one).

Please do try to remember not ALL human beings on this planet have the same beliefs (and that’s okay). YOUR belief is no more right or wrong than any other persons so I suggest you try to keep in mind you are NOT the only person on the planet and Christianity is only slightly older than two thousand years old. There are many religions that date back much further. Who is to say which one, if any, are THE ONE? Frankly, I think they all have a lot of common sense in them, they all borrow from each other, but in reality, without religions this world would be a much more peaceful and loving and quiet place.

Religions began back when humans didn’t understand their world and made Gods out of the things they saw it the sky. It was a mostly fear induced thing, with a lot of sacrificing. Things have evolved, but not much really, when you really LOOK at the world. Religion is a crutch for the weak and fearful who are too terrified to live in THIS world and must make promises to themselves in order to be decent human beings TODAY. I look forward to my time in hell where I hope all the doggies go…

  33. REta. I can’t read all that. Just kinda glaze over and stare. Then give up.

  34. Reta, you had better take back that last statement. It seems if you believe in hell, then you believe in heaven….it’s like if a quarter, nickle or dime has a ‘heads’, it also has a ‘tails’. How could you even say that hell is where all the doggies go.

Pls refer to my sermon above about where dogs will go. They will not go to hell because they are totally innocent, and many humans have had a happier and fulfilling life because of dogs who live to love and follow their master and give comfort (see all the stories above of those(and your dog Etta) who loved their pets). So continue with your hating me, I don’t care.

  35. PS: Seriously, Reta, you had better publicly take back that last statemennt. That’s the worst thing by far you ever said, about life-long pets who love and protect us. Maybe Janet has now or has had a beloved pet close to her heart, and she will be so incensed over what you said about hoping doggies go to hell that she will delete YOU. So think about it, our little injured flower.

  36. Give us a break and hpefully because she cant find a man for long she doesnt become an animal nut.

At least Jen has never been known to go for the BLACK worm and keeps it within the race. She is not that desparate.

  37. I just glanced back over this and saw where I had missed a kettle of shit brewing.

Evelyn, I like reading personal things that people share on this site. It makes them more human than just a name or number.

Your comment about “your dear ole pets are dust now.” That’s pretty cold Ms. Evelyn. Didn’t Margaret Hamilton play you in the Wizard of Oz? Lighten up.

    __________________________________________

Reta, Evelyn got you all worked up just like she wanted you….then you ended up saying something I am sure you don’t mean.
” I look forward to my time in hell where I hope all the doggies go…”

I know you don’t mean that. The last part of your earlier comment certainly rings bells with me……

“There is NOTHING like the love a dog gives you and the look in their eyes when they are worried about you. They don’t NEED to “talk” they already DO.”

Your right Reta. I know that “look” you are talking about. Someone with a heart big enough to love a little furry bundle of love could never mean that comment about hell.

  38. Thank you everyone for sharing your beautiful yet heartbreaking stories. Pets are so special, they are innocent and always loving where humans are certainly not.

  39. Why dont you share your fact and fiction personal stories on facebook or elsewhere where you can have your 10 seconds of fame and not clog up a site that is about Hollywood Gossip….the truth is that no one cares a whit.
