Whatever anyone says about Jennifer Lopez from the Bronx, I would say she has surpassed her dreams, she made a name for herself in music, movies, celebrity, dancing, and has survived. She also made time to have two children, keep her mother and sisters close by and built her wealth to $300 million. If her hair is think or thick at this point I’m sure she can afford to get inplants. Whether she is very beautiful or not, she had enough confidence to break through the pack (even surpass the pretty girls) to get the public to buy her music (even though last record bombed), and see her movies. Let’s not forget her likeabily on American Idol. If this one retires tomorrow she’ll be okay and so will her children and family. I don’t know if she slept her way to the top NOT am I saying that’s the way to go, but if one does go that route, once you get there, THE PUBLIC STILL has to LIKE YOU to make you successful before you start investing your millions. She was asked to return to American Idol for over 12 million because the public doesn’t like her? She had the #1 movie, album, and The popularity of the multi-talented Lopez reached new heights in early 2001, when her album, J. Lo debuted at No. 1 on the pop charts, while her film, the romantic comedy The Wedding Planner, shot to the top spot at the box office in its first week of release. In December 2002, she performed another one-two punch with the release of the record This Is Me. Her career has definitley had its ups and downs but she is still in the game. Not only do Latinos like her so do the whites, blacks, and Asians, etc. Today the music industry is CHANGING and its hard to sell an album. Today people buy singles off Itunes. Whatever she does next, she doesn’t have the pressure of not having money. She walks out of the industry now she walks away with a lot of money.
