Barbara Walters has a lot to think about on “The View.” She wants to maintain her shrinking lead over competitor “The Talk” and hoped that adding Jenny McCarthy to the group would do the trick. In November, the show will go to Disneyland for a week of live broadcasting to boost ratings. But outspoken Jenny is not testing well – viewers are not particularly fond of her. Ironically, Elizabeth Hasselbeck, whom Jenny replaced, had a great month on Fox & Friends news – ratings are up 22%. Unless viewers warm up to Jenny, her days might be numbered.

I’ve watched a few times and… I want to like her… I really do. But there is something that is just not likeable about her. Maybe it’s because I remember her as the blonde bimbo (obviously, a character for her) on that dating show, where she danced around in a next-to-nothing top and tight, tight, tight jeans. Now she is putting on glasses so we can all see how intellectual she is. If Barbara is smart, McCarthy will be gone by end of the year. I really miss Joy Behar, by the way… anyone else?
Joy Behar, I especially loved her own show. She needs a new one; The View is not good enough for her.
Anybody but that Republican beyotch Elisabeth Hasselbeck is all right with me. I think Jenny is probably trying too hard. If she just relaxes, she will be OK.

I miss Joy alot…she was the reason I watched. I think it’s time to say goodbye to this show. Even Whoopi looks bored. If they could get someone with some smarts who is funny and politically aware of the world…well it might have a chance. Sherri is just so dumb it hurts. As for Jenny, neither here nor there….she doesn’t add anything.
I won’t tune in if I see Babs on for the day. Not impressed with McCarthy and no way in hell do I want to watch Joy. Certainly there is something better out there than those 3 alternatives.
Love Joy and miss her. Jenny is a no talent who has created a health hazard with her no vaccine stupidity. It is scary that anyone would have listened to her crackpot theories, much less followed her recommendations. I still doubt her kid is autistic, I can’t believe there is a “cure” and she discovered it. And love the glasses, it give her such an intellectual look-not.
Jenny’s whole “schtick” is to be a pin up but also one of the guys, her appeal is to men. Most women can’t stand her. I agree, she caused a lot of parents to not vaccinate their kids, and never apologized when her rantings proved to be false. She’s just a bimbo, can’t stand her.
I loved Joy. I reckon Babs pushed her out so that nobody ended up being on the show longer than she will.
What about Sandra Bernhard as co-host?
When Jenny trotted out her boyfriend on her first show that did it for me, cannot stand her & still wonder how/why she got this job. Hard to believe Barbara wanted her considering her Playboy past. Barbara on the other hand has overstayed her welcome. She’s turned into a total idiot.
Still NUMBER ONE among viewers confined to iron lungs.
It is painfully obvious that Jenny and “The View” is not a good fit. She acts self-conscious, is never funny, tries too hard, and basically looks like the slut that she is with the bleached hair and extensions. She should go back to nudies in trash mags.

Babawa Wawa is a joke; she should take her million$ and retire NOW, not next year.

Get Lady Gaga,or MaDonna to liven up the show. It would be different. I will give no criticism toward Jenny. Sometimes things don’t work out,and that doesn’t mean see is not doing a good job. I would do it,and I am a transgender woman,and that would really liven up the show. Ha!!! I wish the show well. Best Wishes to the cast,producers,and Network. She’s the trojan horse Barbara hired to ensure that there will be no view after she retires next spring.
Why? Because Barbara’s exit from ABC isn’t voluntary. She’s not ready to end her career just yet–and she was humiliated when Disney forced the issue, after her fall and subsequent hospitalization.
Jenny is the reincarnation of Debbie Matenopoulos (remember her?)–only with larger breasts and a smaller brain, and the viewers aren’t buying.
