No more sharing swimsuits for Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey. It’s over. But as we told you last summer, he didn’t leave her in the lurch. Jim bought Jenny and her little boy Evan a FIVE MILLION dollar house in Beverly Hills so they can always feel secure. That calculates to about a million dollars for each year they spent together. STAR magazine claims that Jim’s bouts of depression led to the split and certainly his moods have always been a challenge. At least he’s not a cheapskate.

Good grief! What has HE got to be depressed about? His world is perfect, he doesn’t have to worry about getting bills paid, making sure his kid is fed and if he can find another job. God, these people are so blessed and are too stupid to know it.
I am so glad that Jim is doing the right thing. He really seems like a good guy. Best of luck to both Jim and Jenny. Hopefully Jim and Jenny remain friendly.

Clinical depression is something that happens in the brain, an imbalance. He can be treated, but sometimes it’s hard to get to the correct treatment or combination of meds. Perhaps he doesn’t use any meds as some people are reluctant to take them. Or they take them for a while and feel fine and then go off them thinking they are fine and then the depression comes back. They are CHEMICALLY depressed, they don’t CHOOSE to be depressed. It’s a MEDICAL condition. Not something he can NOT BE because he is rich.

He’s a monster and she was the best thing to ever happen to him. Like everything else in his life, he blew this relationship. Thank God she got out unscathed. Now she can bust out in her career as a tv show host without his jealous sniping.
He’s always been clinically depressed, and it has nothing to do with who you date, how much money you have, or where you live. I hope he finds his happiness and doesn’t do anything drastic. Good for him for being so generous to Jenny (I hope he pays the property taxes on the place too, as that can drive you outta a home fast)…
Jim is well know to have bipolar disorder, the fact that he is rich doesn’t make that go away. I’m glad he’s being decent about things and taking care of Jenny and the kid. I wish all men were so kind and generous. There are so many jerks out there trying to screw over their families. Best of luck Jim and Jenny.
Why are people jealous because he EARNED his money working. He didn’t rob anyone, and his money won’t cure his depression.
